Comfortable beds, but for 2 people very small (1,40m). Location was great, decent neighbourhood and 15 minute walk to the palace of Versailles. Rooms were big enough (bathrooms not)

Ernst on reception was exceptional. Very good location to everything.
Firstly, upon arrival the receptionist wanted to charge me...
Firstly, upon arrival the receptionist wanted to charge me more than € 80.55, when i asked him he said it was for the city tax. i then showed him my email which mentions that the city tax is included in the total price of € 80.55. The receptionist was not really happy and was mumbling to himself in French which as well i found it rude when he knows we only speak English. He then did calculations on the calculator and charge me for € 80.55.
Secondly regarding the room, it was nice and clean but the bathroom was a disgrace. there were no towels(although in the photos it shows in the bathroom that there are towels in the bathroom), the extractor fan was not working which made the bathroom smell and constantly humid and we had to keep the door open and the window of the room as well open.
Thirdly the following day at 8:30am we had a knock on the door and it was the cleaner which didn't seem happy that we were still in the room and she looked at her watch asking us when we will leave, i responded to her told her not yet as she could see we were with our pyjamas. if i am not correct the check-out is until 12:00pm, so we can leave anytime till 12:00pm. Again at 10:00 there was another knock on the door and when i opened she mumbled in French and i told her that we are getting ready to leave.
It was a disappointing service and horrible experience from the reception till we were getting kicked out by the cleaner!!!
The staff was exceptional helpful in finding locations around the hotel (including PCR tests for Covid that would accept foreign travelers) as well as accommodating arrival times. The building and the rooms were very clean at all times, and covered all of the basic necessities for a stay. The room was simple and no-frills, exactly what you would expect.
Room was Smels bad, breakfast was worce ( just little bread' coffee and jam) that's it, room was urine smell' TV does not work, no towel in the bathroom, this hotel looks like in the Africa :((((
