The property was beautiful, a little rough but historic places are. The rooms were spacious and modern, clean and comfortable.there was a lovely area to have morning breakfast and another for wine late afternoon. The town took over this monastery and invested in creating a lovely place for visitors to stay. A lovely place!

this is an incredibly romantic château with the perfect blend of old and new. as we climbed the 15th century tower stairs to get to our quarters, I was mesmerized, but also curious if we were going to half to haul in our water from the well outside and use chamber pots. not at all! the apartment has been newly and beautifully renovated, complete with the most comfortable beds and bathrooms. and the spa room on the ground floor was perfect for our weary travelers.
