We loved the whole experience, starting from the boat ride on lake Pielinen, accomodation and the fantastic buildings with fascinating details, sauna, prepared dinner baskets as well as the great breakfast. In the nature, in calm, very sereine atmosphere - and not forgetting the accomodating owners & hosts!

Very good location to explore the different national parks and other activity areas around. The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and gave us good tips, thank you for that! The hotel is old but renovated, has a nice nostalgic feeling with swimming pool, game room with pingball table etc. Room was clean and comfortable, we got upgraded from hostel to hotel which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend this place.
This place is definitely recommended to come with children. They will have so much to do, such as to play football, play in the play or the game room, jump on a trampoline, swim in the pool etc. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were nice and firm for a great night sleep. The hotel is not by a lake but a beautiful sandy beach is close by to drive. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming!
Nice and quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite sufficient. The hotel's location is great for hikers, Kolini, Patvinsuo and Ruunaa national parks are about 40 minutes away by car. We recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature. After a day's hiking, a warm sauna awaited us. There is a barbecue hut in the yard, where a larger meal is also prepared.
The receptionist was very helpful and nice. The room was very spacious, clean and quite nice. The hotel is located in a quiet location. We really liked the room with air hockey, billiards and similar games. The breakfast was also okay. There were also plenty of parking spaces.
If you want a small adventure in Koli, this is the way to do it. I really enjoyed with my family with small kids. Wooden heated sauna was great!
Do not expect all the hotel services, but more like glamourus camping. Highly recommended!
Small and comfortable hotel. Very attentive staff and always willing to help you with recommendations on where to go. Buffet breakfasts and dinners. Its location allows you to visit the national parks of Koli and Patvinsuo.

Beautiful authentic Finnish place on an island in a lovely setting. Don't expect hotel services as everything is basic but comfortable. Great sauna which you can use for an extra cost
