The host has really detailed instructions for how to get there and for what to see in the area, which are very handy because it's quite remote and you need to build your route smart in order to see the most of it. It was an interesting experience arriving to the accommodation and finding out that it's one street with only 3-4 houses and a dozen of cats on top of a mountain. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the clever selection of ham/cheese. The house is very authentic and we glad to have experienced that during our visit to Asturias.

A good-sized room with a lovely view of sun-lit hills behind the town. Our bikes were secured in the garage behind/below the hotel and staff were careful about opening and closing the doors remotely. La Casona de Amandi is a very stylish hotel located in a quiet area. Our room was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The hotel arranged for us to eat in a fine restaurant in the nearby town. We planned to check out before the appointed breakfast time - but the hotel very kindly prepared sandwiches and snacks for our onward walk. We were very appreciative. THey are nice people.

comfortable apartment with everything we needed. we had been staying in hotel rooms so it was nice to have a sofa to sit on and kitchen facilities. situated in a central location, wasn’t too noisy but the weather was cool so we didn’t have the windows open. Had food at the restaurant below which we’d recommend.

Seeing that my wife had a sore ankle, the hotel offered us a bag of ice without us even asking. Also, seeing us leave the hotel in the morning, they had housekeeping clean our room before 11:30 AM. Who does that? Also, their restaurant downstairs is legitimately good.
The hotel is in a very quaint and serene little village with a great local restaurant. The hotel itself is immaculate with extensive grounds with many areas for guests to sit. Beds were super comfy, breakfast was a delight and the proprietor very caring.

Amazing place tucked away in the mountains of Asturias. If you want to chill out and recharge, it's the best place to do so. Some amazing restaurants and hike nearby and two lovely host, who put their hearts into this place. Muchas gracias :)

I have stayed at many hotels and pensiones along the Camino Norte. Avenida Real combines great staff, comfortable room, nice shower, artsy decor, wifi that works, amazing cafe at Cafe Vicente, and central location.
This was my 2nd time to stay in Avienda Real while walking the Camino. A quirky old hotel with gorgeous artwork and furniture. Friendly staff and a lovely café owned by the hotel around the corner for breakfast.
