Villarrobledo has a lovely main square with a porticoed...
Villarrobledo has a lovely main square with a porticoed ayuntamiento and a huge 16th century church. There are numerous bars and restaurants around the square. Food is good, as us the local white wine, and the prices are reasonable. The town must have been very prosperous a few centuries ago as there are some beautiful old, honey-coloured stone houses with coats of arms dotted along the side roads. It makes for a delightful overnight stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a wedding party the night we stayed. They emailed to make us aware beforehand. Then they made sure to put is in rooms as far from the party as they could. We did not hear the party from our rooms. We had a late meal and breakfast in the hotel and they were both very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The staff were lovely and really happy to help. The hotel was basic but had everything we needed for a stop over on a journey and the bed was surprisingly comfy. The location was just off the motorway. Food was ok and the breakfast was basic but gave us some food for the onward journey. Check your booking carefully to ensure you have en-suite facilities.
The spirit of the hotel is outstanding. Staff always smiling and supporting. The room is clean and the bed very confortable. The kitchen is open untill 23.30 and it is gorgeous! I strongly suggest it to anyone travelling in that area.
This place was really nice, but the best thing was the people who work at this hotel, they are super nice and helpful. We also received an invitation to a free tasting of local wine and cheese, it was really nice :)
Delightful sympathetically renovated rustic hotel, right on the main square. Comfy beds, good aircon and a decent wifi signal. Very pleasant staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.
