Location is good, restaurant near by, and a super market is just next door to the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The owner maintained communication from the very beginning. Was very considerate. Even prepared a welcome gift basket and a delicious salad for us.

The owner speaks excellent english which is helpful in understanding the details of the apartment. The owner was accommodating and prompt in all aspects of booking, communication and checkin. Very clean and comfortable bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. I would return here again to stay if I came back to Viana.

Comfortable and clean. Owner let us check in early and made sure we were comfortable with everything and even said to call him if we had questions.

Set in Logroño's old town, on El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, Hotel Sercotel Portales lies at the heart of the prestigious wine-tasting region of La Rioja.
A lovely old hotel in a very nice location. We got a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the ruins of San Pedro. Great value for money with a very nice restaurant and bar on the ground floor.
Apartment was well equipped, clean and the host met us with the keys. He was charming and very helpful. The location is on the outskirts of Viana. It's a quiet, secure neighbourhood. Parking was on the street and free. Note that it is an uphill walk to the walled historic heart of Viana, c 500 metres. We did not attempt to park in the city but you can drive up there.
Great location with beautiful common areas. The bedroom was a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The hotel has a very nice bar and restaurant, with both indoor seating and outdoor seating in the plaza. I enjoyed my stay.
It was spacious and clean! It had everything we needed. A washer to wash our clothes, a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and a tv. We had plenty of space to spread out. Each bedroom had a place to hang clothes. We loved our stay here!
Everything.
A first class hotel with excellent facilities.
Good bar. Good food.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for and this hotel was fantastic.
I would stay there again and would definitely recommend it.
We stayed one night while on the Camino. Accommodation in Viana was in short supply. Spotless clean, great location, access was straightforward, and the staff person was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again
2 full bedrooms, a great kitchen ‘ living space.
I liked that the apartment had lots of windows with multiple rows of clothes lines to hang clothes, and the washing machine was a bonus. Thanks for the detergent!
Parking outside the hotel. The bedroom was huge and the bed was enormous! Good sized bathroom. Their restaurant is next door and the food was good. The breakfast buffet included scrambled & fried eggs and bacon.
The hotel is in the Centro histórico, close to everything. The room was a good size and the bathroom was well-equipped. The hotel is in a wonderfully restored old building with great period furniture.
Staff saved the day by picking us up as we came into Viana on the Camino and then could not find the street on the map as it was way below the old city. Very clean and nicely appointed.
it was ok for a 4* hotel, however not exceptional, we liked the fact that it was out of town, however resembled a shopping mall rather than a hotel overall
