Nice hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the Toledo city. It's about a 20min walk to the old city and alternatively there is a bus stop near the entrance and taxi available. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was exceptional, every time we entered we were greeted as if they knew us. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, beds and pillows were perfect.
The breakfast was nice but different than a self serve breakfast buffet. They bring a beautiful charcuterie type board filled with high quality meats, fruits and cheeses and homemade yogurt with selection of dried fruit and nuts. Every table receives this, they then take your order for eggs, scrambled was perfect. The sweets corner was simple and adequate except for the whipped lemon herb marscapone which was fantastic. We decided to have breakfast again the second day, even though it wasn’t what we are used to, everything was such high quality. The gentleman working the breakfast room was very pleasant even when busy. They require a reserved breakfast time so everyone can be given the ultimate experience.

Just an amazing, wonderful city. So many fascinating places including the white synagogue, El Greco museum, Cathedral and the general ambiance of the old city. We loved the tourist train that went around the city. It's a short (30 min) train ride from Madrid; book this in advance, they fill up, that's why we had to take the less desirable bus. Very walkable but realize it's all up and down, might be difficult for some people. Definitely stay overnight; tourists go home at night and you have the city to yourself. We ate at more or less randomly chosen little places that were uniformly good.

The old city of Toledo looks magnificent from the parador or from across the valley. There is an attractive river walk outside the city wall with historic bridges which lead up to the city. There are many cobbled streets to wander around but we couldn’t find a quiet traffic free square to enjoy a coffee and people watch. For me, the skyline was the most memorable part of my visit.

Cathedral visit is essential, people were very friendly (except when driving), good eating including a few upscale gems, fun to get lost in winding streets, only to find you are a minute from where you started.
The best feature of this apartment is the view from the balcony, where we could see the Toledo Cathedral lighted up at night. Breathtaking. We also like that the apartment is spacious with comfortable beds. The decor is elegant and well decorated. Having 1.5 bathrooms is also convenient if one of us is taking a shower. It’s one of the best apartments that we have stayed in. Pepa is a nice host who gave us great recommendations for restaurants and helped us to book a taxi for a very early check out. Highly recommended!
Though this hotel is at the top of hill, access from train station to the front of the hotel is simple and easy by Taxi! And in taxi, it's amazing to go narrow old way like maze. (Sight-seeing bus app couldn't been downloaded and we couldn't know when they arrive at each bus stops...)

Getting to the hotel in a family car is a challenge, because the streets are very narrow with sharp turns.
The garage is right next to the hotel - very cramped for a family car, but again, we managed to both: drive and park the car in the garage (with the active help of a hotel employee)
Toledo has many day tourists. Which is unfortunate because the city is even more beautiful at night than during the day. This hospedaje deserves more than two stars : it is a small, very charming hotel with extremely friendly staff. Here you imagine yourself in the glorious history of Spain, with beautifully decorated rooms. Don't expect contemporary luxury but the hotel is very comfortable and, above all, enchanting. We loved it!

The Adolfo is a gorgeous and very high quality hotel with the most amazing location right off of the main square. Just an amazingly location for exploring Toledo. My room was huge with a beautiful balcony and a fantastic shower. The whole staff were great, Eva, Maria, Anna and Veronica are all so kind and helpful and very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We went to Puy du Fao in Toledo. This hotel is located a bit closer to it as it is outside of the city center. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was very good. The hotel has a great view of Toledo. The front desk was helpful with arranging taxis.
