Hotel Villaro Del Bosc was my favorite place to stay on a three-week trip through Catalonia. I loved the location in the midst of fields and forest. I loved swimming in the pool. Dinner was exquisite: each dish rare, unique, and delicious. Our balcony overlooked attractively-arranged bushes and trees. Our room was small but clean and comfortable; the walls hung with intriguing Jack Vettriano prints.
Relaxation and enjoyment were perfection.

The host Xavi was kind enough to upgrade us to a two bedroom apartment without extra charge for which we are really grateful. The 4 of us had a really pleasant one night stay and were able to cook ourselves a decent meal in the apartment. Xavi greeted us personally upon arrival and was kind enough to provide us a rack to hang out our washed laundry. There was parking space on the street in front of the apartment for our rented car. The apartment was really close to two supermarkets and it was within walking distance to the town.
With a magical setting inside a 9th-century castle and boasting a 2nd-century tower, this Parador is straight out of fairytale and has panoramic views over the Catalonian countryside.
