I had a very quiet room opening on to a garden area with outdoor seating protected by rain from the first floor overhang. I loved the interior design: materials, furnishings and bathroom fixtures. It had a luxurious feel which made my stay very relaxed. It was my second time staying here and David and his wife gave me a very warm welcome, with organisational improvements made.. They were also very helpful with anythng I needed. Again I loved the atmosphere of the horse ranch. Going for little walks to see the horses was a morning treat.

Our stay in Masia Can Bachs was fantastic. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They recommended us many walks and hikes as well as good restaurants in the region. We are going to come back!

Sant Esteve is a rural village with a twin vilage nearby. It has access to lovely country walks and horse ranches for riding, but also has good shops, restaurants and facilities. The 2 villages are easily accessed from Barcelona airport by the suburban rail link stopping at Palautodera station.

It's a pitty Sant Esteve de Palautordera decided to stop proposing breakfasts. For this kind of hotel (premium for the area), it is amazing !
Explanation given by manager is linked to Covid in order to limit exchanges between customers in September 2023 i.e. two years after pandemic ending.
Room were breakfasts were served converted in bedrooms.

I recommend this hotel. Quiet, calm and friendly staff. We were delighted with the spa and massage. There are many hiking trails near the hotel, clean air and convenient access to the Montseny Park. Near the hotel there are good restaurants such as Dar and pizzeria La Efimera.
We took a nice walk of an hour to get there from Sant Esteve de Palautordera. Hosts, interior and exterior - all of it with a very personal, loving and caring touch!
Will defenetly try to get back.

Small countryside hotel with fairly big restaurant in a beautiful old building complex with a horse rancho. Very kind owners taking a very good care of their guests.
