I enjoyed the dinner that was provided, but I did think that it was a little bit expensive at €18 for what we got. We had one course with a relatively plain salad and a very small pastry for dessert. we were after some more wine and we’re initially told that we couldn’t have any, but then we could get one carafe more.

I liked the friendliness of the staff. The hostal was clean and comfortable. I felt very safe there as a solo traveller. The menu was explained very well and I really enjoyed my dinner.There was a map left in my room of Astorga and it provided a wide range of information for me.
