We like the rausan because it is convenient for our travels to our finca in Tarragona -it is only two hours away -we travel twice a year from the uk to Spain and arrive in spain via Brittany ferries so we literally come right past the door of the rausan

I had expected a small country village, wrong, this is an up and coming suburb of Zaragoza. Lots of new houses and flats, although the old town looked quite interesting and I would have liked more time to explore.

Because we had our dog with us and did not want to leave her alone in the room we ordered dinner from the restaurant to eat in our room - it was fine but not kept warm in any way - they could use some lids to help keep the food hot. The hotel provided a nice dog bed and bowl which was appreciated. The staff were friendly and did what they could to help.
The staff here are so pleasant and helpful. You are not treated like a customer, more like an old friend. The hotel is convenient, clean and comfortable. Restaurant has excellent selection on the menu. Breakfast is good and plentiful. But it's the staff that make it 10/10 for me.
Very good hotel in with a low-key vibe. Big bonus for being really pet friendly and allowing our dog into ALL hotel areas, including the breakfast room. Great stop-over and nice walks along the fields nearby. Decent breakfast.
