Lovely welcome, room spacious and sparkling. Had a balcony which I used and it made my stay special as weather was lovely. Bed seriously comfortable, room has everything you need.
Location is perfect, it's in the middle of everything. If you hike the Coast route, it's an easy walk up to the entrance. Don't let Google Maps take you around the back as it's steep!
The hotel itself is lovely and the port and biscuits in the library were a lovely addition.
Felt the tariff was very fair, included a buffet breakfast. Stayed at inferior places in Portugal and Spain on this hike for the same price, so there's a lot of ripping off going on elsewhere.
An exceptional stay, highly recommend. Don't miss it.
