It's a party resort, we've been before in 2019, but it's lovely,they are doing lots of work to improve the area. It's close to Palma and has amazing beaches.That stretch of the coat is popular with Germans but makes it a great atmosphere. It's not a pretty resort but walks and bike rides along the coast are great.

Nice cheap and cheerful Hotel...stayed before on several occasions ..does what it says on the Tin...nothing special, but clean tidy and helpful staff,......and wine from the bar OK for just 2 euros :)...my 2 year old grandson had no complaints :)...beach just 15 mins walk away for his little legs, but loved it.

There were plenty of places to eat and have coffee, the back streets were a bit rough looking but the promenade along the front was lovely.
The food was not very cheap but not too expensive either if you chose carefully where you eat.
All the staff at the coffee bars were friendly and not too pushy especially the 'Salsa' bar which had an hours free salsa dancing lessons on Saturday.
It was only a 20 minute bus ride into Palma (on the express bus) and only 2 euros. The buses seemed to run quite late. Palma is a beautiful town but I'm glad we stayed out at El Arenal which had all the facilities but was a little quieter.
I can imaging the beach in the warmer weather would be really nice.

The area around the hotel compared to nearby areas were not as clean and friendly. Of an evening you are constantly hounding with drugs sales and men walking alone are handed leaflets for a nearby brothel. In my personal experience i couldnt go back to this location because of this.

All inclusive terrible as was not worth it , line to get water was impossible in the evening only one bar open they should have water and soft drinks on the side I am non drinker and wait for water 30 min it’s a no no , I was buying drinks and coffee in local shops , food was really bad too I never had as bad experience like this one

El arenal is probably the worst part of spain I’ve been. There is litter and lucky lucky men everywhere. You are bothered in bars and restaurants. It seems more of a location for youngsters partying. If you like architecture and history and quiet relaxing holidays do not come here.
I’m 35 and I could not cope with it. Also seems like a same sex couple destination, a lot of Dutch people at the location.
Lucky me that the TV was brokern and one mam from reception proposed me to change the room. Initially, i received the room with the view of….wall. I did the late check-in (9:00 PM) and there were a lots of free rooms. If it was only one room for single person….I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL as, for sure, they do not upgrade your room (even if it is possible). The bathroom was with someones hairs and the breakfast was not very tasty - I would say in low quality products. The lady which prepared the breakfast was very kind.
The breakfast was good, dinner was good either. For 3 star hotel even more than enough. It included eggs, salad, meat and some vegetables.
To sum up, the meal is ok, I can recommend.
The hotel is located close to the beach, and it’s the biggest advantage. Staff is super friendly.
Room has been cleaned every day, towels are clean and housekeepers changed them every day as well.
Even tough the reviews were bad I bought an accommodation at this hotel. We were surprised how clean it was and not too much noisy as I read.
Especially, I have to say that the staff was extremely nice and helpful with everything.
I really recommend this hotel. Don't let the bad reviews discourage you, for this price it's a really good choice.

Staff is very kind and helpful. Room was cleaned on a daily basis. Location is great. Looks modern and new. Breakfast is good.
Do not trust the comments about "dodgy looking people" in front of the hotel and noise from the clubs, those clubs are closed now, and the d dealers are all over Arenal so it's not hotel's fault
Room was very spacious and clean, housekeeping service done daily. The staff was very friendly, they had nice bar downstairs with good prices as well as luggage storage which was convenient. We were surprised for how good hotel was for the amount we paid. Would recommend and stay again.
The check-in was smooth, breakfast was good, the room was nice, the view was great and the staff was lovely specially Carmen, she was so kind and helpful. I really don't understanding why the hotel has such a bad reviews, I had an amazing stay.
Great value for money, however this is a budget hotel so don't expect luxury! Food was good but towards the end of our 5 days we were getting bored of it.Beds were comfy, good showers but rooms a little tided.
The hotel is close to the beach and buffet breakfast and dinner are included. They vary the buffet offerings every day so always a wide variety of food items to chose from. Room was nice and clean
