We had a really exceptional stay at Hipotels Gran Playa. A cosy double room, with a sofa. We really appreciated a large room space (33 m2).
The hotel is more oriented towards German tourists, but a really kind reception staff were fully fluent in English. They had answered all question we had asked them.
The room was a very silent one, did not hear any noise during a night.
Food options were wonderful, both for breakfast and dinner. Various choices of meat, fishes, salads, vharcuterie boards, specials of the day. Juice freshes during breakfast time. Tasty and reasonably cocktails (€6-8) in a lobby bar.
A basic spa service (inside heated pool, whirlpools, sauna) is included in the price. We were busy with sightseeing and walking, that we did not use it.

Playa de Palma is a clean but very busy resort. Majority of fellow tourists were German and lots of cycling groups. Many bars and restaurants as well as souvenir shops. Probably not a honeymoon choice but great for a good value break.

Palma de Mallorca is beautiful. It was at the very end of October - beginning of November. I didn't know before that November is the dead season in Mallorca. But there is a special beauty in deserted beaches, a quiet embankment. Still warm. The water is also good. But the wind, the sea is rough, hotels and restaurants are closed for this month. I want to come back again. The aftertaste is great.

Well organised and clean front and beach. Shops are fit for purpose and offer a ranch of things from needy kit to cheerful crap. Plenty of drinking holes and many very focussed on German visitors who can give as much and dress as badly as most Brits in football shirts. Food is wide ranging and not overly priced but quality doubtful. I liked the effort which goes on to make the beach front and beach free from litter and the rat and tat sellers. They were there lurking about the side streets but not pestering you. On this occasion I did not find myself smelling drugs which was a pleasant experience.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy our visits to Playa de Palma and everytime stay at the Negresco Hotel.
There are many restaurants to eat along the seafront, but recommend if you love surf and turf Mama Muus (just off the promenade) Excellent steaks and reasonably priced.
Avoid Gingers for food as poor quality and expensive

I booked the hotel as my second stay in Mallorca this year. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room on the 6th floor was with a view of the pool and the sea, cleaned every day. The room is smaller, but it is sufficient for a vacation. The bathroom was excellent. The hotel staff was very pleasant (from the lady at the reception during check-in, to the restaurant staff, maids and others). The food (breakfast and dinner) was varied, tasty, in reasonable quantities. I would say excellent! I will definitely return to this hotel.
There was nothing not to like. Very nice hotel and spacious room with see view balkony. The sky bar is story for itself, probably the best one in the area.
The food was excellent, various and well organised. We were with little baby and they have child seats and allowed us to take pack some food for the baby as well as provided hot watter for the bottle.

The location is amaizing just in front of the beach. You have everything you need around supermarket, cash points, restaurants, beaches. The hotel is modern with a lovely swimming pool downstairs solarium and easy access to the beach. Favourite space is the rooftop with a nice bar and swimming pool and a stunning view.

Lovely young people’s hotel (average age probably 20-40) just down from Playa de Palma. Resort style outdoor pool area is really great (wake up early if you want a lounger!) and breakfast is brilliant too. Worth staying here!
