Sweet little house with very helpful owners. We believe we were the first guests after a long-term rental. It was generally comfortable. Downstairs are a living room, a small basic kitchen and a shower room. Upstairs are the two good-sized bedrooms, accessed by a very narrow spiral staircase. The house is heated with portable electric radiators and a woodstove in the living room, which are enough to keep the house warm, although the bathroom is cold. There is plenty of hot water via a gas boiler. The main bedroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable (we didn't try the other beds). There is good storage in the bedrooms. The seating area has a sofa which appears to be a short single bed as well. The location is good within Cazalla, and if you are driving you should approach the house from the wider end of the road, where there is ample parking. You can't park outside the house as the road is narrow here, but that makes it peaceful.

A quiet town, with at least 3 great restaurants : Agustina, Posada del Moro, and Meson La Bolera.
Excellent locally produced food : cherry liqueur, organic olive oil, cheese, and of course the acorn-fed black pigs.
Some good walks from town out into the local countryside.
A number of interesting ancient buildings, but none open for visiting during our stay.
Access from Sevilla by bus (1hour 40 @ €7)

Cazalla de la Sierra is a beautiful town set on a hilltop.
Cazalla de la Sierra is a beautiful town set on a hilltop. The Sierra Norte is a great area to explore walking. You must also cycle the Via Verde - you can hire bikes from a cycle shop at Constantina train station for just 10 euros per day. The mines are a must see too!

This was such an unexpected pleasure. A beautiful family run old posada with much charm and elegance. The staff were lovely. Our bedroom was large and very comfortable with lovely garden and pool views. The swimming pool is wonderful and although not officially open for the summer we still had two lovely swims. Cazalla de La Sierra is a pretty village which is easy to walk to. Good restaurant in the posada and other options in the village. Peaceful, with bird song and a chance to relax.
Really nice open plan living space with all kitchen utensils you could need. We came for 2 nights from Seville so brought food with us. There is a small shop at the bike rental place too. Great location near the train station and perfect to cycle the greenway, which is what we did. Bed is also very comfortable. It was quite cold when we went but fire and blankets provided. In the summer the coolness is probably very welcome! Owner was really responsive and gave plenty of instructions.
Authentic location and accommodation. It's really rural and rustic but don't be put off by that as your hosts offer a really heartfelt welcome. OK it's not 4 star but if you like a genuine Andalusian experience then it's great. Breakfast is excellent situated in the host's house. There is no restaurant as such but the hosts will look after you. The town is only a short walk away if you want to venture out and the nearest restaurant is literally 5 minutes walk.
Spacious property and house with all the conditions needed for a relaxed rural stay, the pool is perfect and the stars at night are just amazing to gaze at.
José and his family were exceptional hosts, friendly and welcoming, they left us a wonderful treat of artisanal made goats cheese which the family produces.
La Posada del Moro is a beautiful old hotel that has been well looked after. In the summer the central square of the hotel would be a lovely and relaxing place to spend time. The location was perfect for me. A short walk to hiking trails. A short walk into town.
We loved the apartment. Beautifully renovated! Lots of space. Well equipped kitchen. The bed was very firm, but this seems to be the norm for Spain. Great location and beautiful views, especially from the second floor terrace.
For nature people it is the perfect place, big farm, very friendly hosts. Nice rooms with little terraces. Surrounded by forest for walking. Very much enjoyed staying at Las Navezuelas.
The parking place inside of the hotel area. Accommodation inside the geopark. For foreigners, the special landscape of "dehesas". Hotel with interesting architecture.
