We visit this hotel every year with our cats (as it is a pet friendly hotel) on our way to the Costa Brava + we love it!
Great staff. Plenty of parking. Clean + comfortable room Restaurant/bar is part of the hotel + serves a good selection of food including the biggest burgers you'll ever see + for a reasonable price too!
There is also a continental style buffet breakfast available which we also enjoy in the morning

The apartment, housed in a building dating from 2016, is 18 miles from the Sendaviva Park. The apartment also offers free Wifi, free private parking, and facilities for disabled guests.
This is the best accommodation we have stayed in on our journeys through France and Spain it has everything you need rooms are brilliant value for the money top recommendation but the thing that impressed me the most was their fairness we could not make the night booked but with a phone call they carried over the stay so when our car was fixed we were still ok to use the credit Brilliant why can not more hotel do this 10 out of 10 top hotel for stopoverm
We have stayed here many times as it is a perfect place to overnight when travelling to either Bilbao or Santander for the ferries. Last time we stayed the restaurant was poor which we mentioned in previous reviews however something has changed and the restaurant this time was very good. Attentive staff and hot food made our experience a joy! Also, as we now run an electric car, the Zunder chargers at the rear of the hotel were very useful.
This is my second stay at el Villa de Castejon. My room was comfortable and very clean. A bonus is that my dogs could stay with me. I think I must have had a free room upgrade for my first visit which slightly dampened my expectations this visit but I was no the less really happy with my room which also had a large balcony with seating. There was a fridge in the room too. .
Very comfortable room, air conditioning worked perfectly, best bed we have ever slept in, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Paula on Reception was brilliant and kindly printed off our PLF forms and Andrea in the Restaurant was extremely helpful, smiley and sweet. Wide choice of breakfast items. There was a quiet track to the side of the hotel to walk the dogs.
This is a perfect hotel for a stopover on our way south from either western France or the ferry ports if Santander and Bilbao. The room was really comfortable and contemporary and the restaurant at the hotel has the most fantastic and well presented buffet style dining. The staff in the restaurant and at check-in were great. This is our second stay and we will be back.
The hotel is well located for an overnight stop. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with nice toiletries provided. The evening buffet offers a wide variety of good food and the price was very reasonable. Overall a great place to stay and good value for money. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
The hotel made it easy to check in in advance, so that I didn't have to hang around in the lobby.

Well designed rooms and public spaces, with high quality fittings and fixtures throughout. Helpful multilingual staff were welcoming and provided an excellent service. Great art prints around the hotel.
