Benidorm is a good place, but only by car. Local public transport is awful. The buses are crowded and slow, they rarely go, but the worst part is the approach to the bus station (Estació de autobuses) and the tram (heading to Alicante etc.). The tram is far from the coast and the city, as is the bus station, and although it would be obvious that connecting with local buses would solve this problem, this is not the case, the local buses have very long and difficult routes, most of them do not go directly to the tram and bus station from the city (and the beach).

Something for everybody young or old, fabulous acts, great assortment of bars, beautiful beach. Just great fun. Make sure you walk along the beachfront to the old town too. Benidorm, best place on earth!

It has a certain reputation however yes it’s party central...
It has a certain reputation however yes it’s party central lots of stag/hen parties and large groups. But there are lots of Spanish tourists/ other nationalities and older tourists.The old town and the mirador is really lovely and it’s a lot cleaner than I think people imagine. I would definitely recommend and will return I wish I had visited sooner

my stay in Benidorm was a good experience, lots of evening activities and entertainment but also lots to explore in the old town. I was there for 4 days but could have enjoyed a little more time there to be honest!

Don't listen to the hype regarding Benidorm being Blackpool...
Don't listen to the hype regarding Benidorm being Blackpool in the sun, if you are young and looking for the nightlife scene drinking yourself stupid its there in abundance. If your looking for a quiet or cafe culture with countless restaurants serving great food its there in old town, for families wanting beach life you can do that as well.
Benidorm has everything to offer and caters for the needs of everyone I personally don't use it as my main holiday destination usually extended weekend stays 5 nights ish . Its a great place everyone needs to experience and judge for yourself just be careful to do your homework choosing a hotel in the correct area to suit your needs. Sadly like any holiday resort there are scammers and thieves just be on your guard.

It was a fun place to go however just got to keep your wits about you for the men and women who stand on the corner of streets waiting to rob people. Always get a taxi. A weekend wasn’t enough! Nightlife if great, a lot of places take cash only
Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the towels, sheets and apartment when we arrived. The terrace is fantastic, just such a lovely place to sit day or night, with very comfortable furniture. Kitchen has everything you would need, with full size fridge freezer. But BBQ on the terrace was fantastic to cook on..and cooking outside, then sitting looking over Benidorm, with a glass of wine, life couldn't get better. Great location not far from new town with all the action, but also close to old town with quieter bars and restaurants.
Everything about this little hotel was lovely. The staff are there on call 24 hours a day and couldn't do enough for us. Staying in the old town was a bit different but allowed us to experience authentic benidorm rather than the tourist places. We had a swim and sunbathe on the little beach at the top of the street and couldnt be happier there.they havr great air con in rooms and a lift to use as we wete on 4th floor. Mini fridge in room was nice and cleaners every day. Will definitely be back.
The warm welcome by the manager, Emilio, who clearly has a passion for his work, made this our best stay in Spain! I can’t rate our stay highly enough: from the super clean, modern facilities, to the outstanding breakfast, to the helpful suggestions provided with map, to the friendly smiles from all the staff led by the incredibly efficient and caring Emilio. Add to this the great location of the hotel, close to the beaches and old town, and this is an absolute winner!
We loved our stay here! It exceeded my expectations! The staff was amazing, they made us feel so welcome and they where so friendly! The room is good size, comfy beds and a great bathroom, such a comfortable room. It was also quiet and had a nice balcony. Guest can also use pool and facilities at the sister hotel just across the street witch was amazing! Location is also great, quick walk to old town and the beach! I would definitely stay again next time in Benidorm!
This property is exceptional. Right on the beach and the views from the lovely balcony are the best you will get. The apartment is spotlessly clean with great facilities, everything you need and more. The beds are the so comfy, the best we have encountered on holidays. There is a supermarket, chemist, restaurant and bars on your door step. It is a short walk to the old town and new town, but still incredibly quite. We cannot wait to return in the future.
I have stayed in numerous hotels in Benidorm and don’t usually leave a review, but I’m very impressed with this hotel. The room is spotless, great shower, comfy bed, AC, fridge and safety deposit box....also has a smart TV which enabled me to watch YouTube/Netflix etc, and various English channels. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the hotel is situated in a perfect location in old town. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Room cleanliness, in fact overall cleanliness throughout the hotel. Spa looks great but I never went in. Everything from checking in to checking out is efficient. Very close to the old town and to a small square of restaurants and pubs which, in their own right, are excellent. I booked b and b but because benidorm is what it is I never went. Whenever I passed the restaurant though there were always plenty of people in.

Such helpful staff on checkin nothing was to much to ask. Selection of food was fab had a different theme each day. Rooms were fab and a great lay out. The added extras of tooth brush, tooth paste, Coombes and other pieces was a great touch.

The Deluxe Room on the corner of the seventh floor was stunning with floor to ceiling glass walls and a fantastic view of Benidorm and the sea. The room was huge with a massive bed and a double spa bath! The linen and towels were great quality and breakfast was excellent. The position of the hotel midway between the new and the old town and a few minutes from the beach is perfect
I haven't got a bad word to say about the hotel. It far exceeded my expectations, I've stayed in worse 3* hotels than this. Bed was 1 of the most comfiest I've slept in an hotel, room was spotless and cleaned/tidied everyday and the breakfast was great. Great location in the old town. What's not to like for the price? Will definitely use again when going to Benidorm
We booked a room on high floor with balcony. It was a stunning panorama view overlooking the entire bay of Benidorm. The food in the restaurant is really great, explaining the name of the hotel (Gastrohotel). Stylish minimalistic room interior. The location is also perfect to discover the old town with all tapas bars and close to shopping and the beach promenades.
Easy check in via WhatsApp communication with host. Asked for an extra pillow and next day it was delivered, very attentive. Great location about 15 min walk to New Town and right in the middle of Old Town so pert, depending on what you want to do! Tea and coffee machine facilities and complimentary bottle of water. There's an iron and ironing board too.
The apartment was so cosy and huge considering the price! It was the cheapest option for two of us when we booked and it could've easily fit at least two others. Such a good location, right in the middle of the action and a short walk from the Old Town. It was right on bus routes as well so was really easy to take a day trip to Altea
