I wanted to add to my other review that Davinia and Raul were amazing, wonderful hosts. They very much enhanced our visit with good ideas and knowledge of the area. We also received knowledge about the foods which were served and a quick course in all things olive oil. It was so great. We would visit every year if possible.
Thank you to our wonderful hosts. We wish them all the best.
The location is lovely, the town of Almedinilla is very worth staying in and it is a good location to visit a lot of different places around- provided you have a car. The staff were super friendly, even helping me out with some laundry, which isn’t actually a service. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in a hotel. Everything was so loving prepared and presented. It is all organic and locally sourced. Very comfy bed and pillows too. Nice pool to spend the afternoons at.
Wonderful! La Era is a unique and lovely place to stay in Almedinilla, Spain. Perfect for getting away from it all, hiking and exploring the hill towns nearby. Raul is an impeccable host. He was very helpful in planning our stay and responsive to any needs. We had a lovely breakfast each morning and a delicious dinner at the hotel on the last night of our stay (by prior arrangement). I highly recommend La Era if you are looking to experience the Andalusia region
The hotel was so good that I canceled the whole day plan and just stayed there. Really beautiful place with plenty of places to enjoy. Everything is organic at hospederia la era and the owners are so kind and supportive. You shouldn’t miss the breakfast, carefully cooked at home or bought from nearby artisans they work with. If you’re visiting Cordoba, or Granada, this is the place to give you a refreshing day-off away from the bustling cities.
I don't know if we've ever met a host like Mark while travelling.
He is so funny, authentic and welcoming and his guesthouse is a
little gem just outside of the town of Almedinilla.
Mark's comfortable place is about getting away from it all while enjoying his
highly appreciated host-skills. Don't look any further and book at Casa Rosa;
you won't regret it.
A beautiful characterful hotel, well decorated and comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean, brilliant swimming pool. Davinia and Raul work very hard to provide a charming escape. Such a refreshing change from many other hotels. Not only was breakfast fabulous but we would also recommend having dinner there. A great birthday treat, including the earrings!
Well organized place with attention to the guests, nice room, great breakfast in an outdoor setting. More local points Almedinilla and Alcala la Real of interest than we expected with good suggestions from the hosts.
