Terrific value for location and amenities the hotel offers. Good amount of free parking, some covered but also cheap public parking opposite. The hotel is very clean and there's a formal restaurant as well as a more casual bar with cheaper options. My room was overlooking the vineyards and was lovely. Fridge/mini bar, BBC news channel, good sized bathroom with good pressure hot shower. Large wardrobe and safe. Breakfast was excellent, very pleasant staff. A good hot and cold selection. The pool is small but adequate for children or cooling off. The sauna area is lovely with bio and Finnish Sauna. There's large supermarket about 10 minutes drive and small one just a few buildings away. Lots of places to eat nearby.

It was a convenient location for the Mosel cycle path. The shower room was ample. There was a wardrobe, so good storage for bags and secure bike storage in the garage was available. It was fine for an overnight stay.

This must be a great place in summer, with a nice balcony with river view attached to the room! The rooms are really large with extra large beds and huge pillows. We were there in December, it was chilly and rainy weather, we enjoyed swimming in the pool, the sauna which was heated especially for us, and the workout fitness room.
The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming.
The whole place reminded me of the charm of the fifties and sixties. Everything was nice and clean but very old-fashioned. It is like spending holidays at your grandparents.
TV program and Internet is poor.

Pretty village on the banks of the Mosel.
Pretty village on the banks of the Mosel. Ideal location for exploring the Mosel area by car or bicycle (some of the local busses also have a trailer for bicycles so you could do a longer ride in one direction and catch the bus back!!)

We really enjoyed this hotel. We have been to the restaurant before which has quickly become our favorite, so we decided to book a stay at the hotel. They had a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival that was amazing. Their restaurant had exceptional food and the breakfast had a lot of great options. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. This hotel exceeded our expectations and has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be staying here again! 😊
We had cycled from Trittenheim on the second day of 6 in the saddle, Alte Schulhaus is in an good location and a we received a friendly welcome. There was a place to store out bikes in the garage which was great, The room was well appointed, bathroom was great and the breakfast offering more than set us up for the day.
We were in an Annex building around the corner from the main hotel, which was not a problem although it would have been if it has been inclement weather.
It was a nice hotel with friendly staff in a calm neighborhood. The location was also good to start a bicycle trip, for which the hotel rented out (e-)bikes at a reasonable price. Breakfast had a good selection and wasn't depleted if you arrived on the later side. Parking was easily accessible and large in size. It was especially nice to arrive late in the evening to enjoy a drink from the (not overpriced) minibar outside.
The service was exceptional. Some of the friendliest staff I ever encountered. The food was amazing. I had diner and breakfast and both were incredible. The hof itself is beautiful and the wine the create is of superb quality. I didn't have time to use the wellness facilities, but I will be back soon to find out if they are as good as all the other parts of this amazing hotel.
This is a very nice hotel offering great views on either the river or the vineyards. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are great. The swimming pool is enjoyable and the basement is great for relaxing. Breakfast options are perfect. Good food and great support from staff.
Nice smaller hotel with very extensive breakfast. The older gentlemen in the restaurant was really great. He gave the hotel the small family feel you expect with this type of hotel. The bulli tour which was organised by the ladies at the reception quite last minute was really great!
Superb location by Mosel River. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Wonderfully spacious old building, with lots of characterful seating areas. Great breakfast and restaurant. Very comfortable bed. This was my fourth stay at this superb hotel.
Everything was great. We stayed 2 days in this fantastic hotel and our room had a nice view. We could see the river. Zeltingen is a quiet village so it was perfect for walking resting and enjoying the pool and spa. We hope to come back one day
We really liked this hotel. We enjoyed the wine themed decor in the room. It was quiet at night and had ample parking. The breakfast was great. We’d definitely stay here again. The village is beautiful. We could see the vineyard from our room.
The hotel was really nice and well located in the middle of the village. The staff was super friendly had helped out with all requests that we had. Breakfast was superb and really enjoyed the wide selection to choose between.
Small hotel conveniently located in this beautiful wine region, close to restaurant and the biking trail. the rooms are clean, the breakfast was generous, and the host is very friendly. very good value for the money.
Small, family owned hotel. Breakfast was very good and worth adding on. Small quiet town conveniently located in the river valley. Staff was very friendly. Rooms had recently been renovated and felt brand new.
We arrive to the hotel in the evening after the kitchen was closed. We were a big team, they waited us with an excellent dinner! Food is good, various and tasty. Location is also excellent!
It is close to the dock to take a river cruise to Bernkastel-Kues. Wine tasting within walking distance. The hotel restaurant and breakfast are amazing!!
