Nice hotel, clean, organized, friendly staff and excellent service. Walking distance to the main Dresden touristic buildings and good restaurants for a fair price. Plenty of public parking and garage if you prefer for 22 euros a day. I didn’t take the breakfast there but I checked it out and they had plenty of good options.

Known as the "Jewel Box", Dresden is a stunning German city with rich history, an important classical music scene, and an unforgettable Baroque and Rococo-inspired city center.
Located on the banks of the Elbe River, the whole city was destroyed during World War II, but has now been rebuilt into one of the most interesting places in Europe. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) is an imposing building that is one of the most beloved symbols of the city.
Magnificent Zwinger Palace is the main Dresden attraction, featuring impressive pavilions and a majestic garden in the middle. Continue your journey along the cultural centre of Germany and visit the picturesque Baroque square of Neumarkt. We stayed in Dresden for 5 days. We were there during the Dresdner Frühjahrsmarkt, so we sampled some of the local food and drinks- everything was delicious.
Our hotel was just outside of the old town and it was really easy to reach all major sights on foot. And we did some shopping too with many shops near our hotel.
We took a cruise to Blasewitz with a steam boat on the Elbe- it was a great experience. We also travelled to Görlitz with a train for a day and it was a charming little town near the "border" with Poland.

Walking through the old town of Dresden was amazing.
Walking through the old town of Dresden was amazing. The city center was destroyed in WWII and lay in ruins throughout soviet occupation. Dresden was rebuilt after reunification. It's like walking through the old city of Dresden, but everything is new and clean and nothing is broken or showing signs of any decay. Amazing. Apparently not many American visitors. Few spoke English. Added to the ambiance. Bring your Google translate app.
Lovely architecture; beautiful natural setting; great museums and music venues. Great food. Excellent public tram system as well as scooters to rent. I will avoid hostels and spend more money to stay in a hotel. I enjoyed the Hygiene and City museums. I'll be back for sure!

Very beautiful city.
Very beautiful city. The historic center is very impressive considering that it was almost entirely rebuilt after 1945. I highly recommend the Old Masters Gallery in Zwinger. This is an unforgettable experience!

Everything!
Everything! Easily my favourite city to visit in Germany so far for its sheer beauty. Amazingly I got last minute tickets to the Semperoper (the opera) to watch “The Magic Flute”.
The architecture, the food, the people are what make Dresden the special place it is.
The Hop on Hop off bus tours are great as they take you to the suburbs in the hills that you would otherwise not get a chance to see. Great views and a good cafe in one suburb to have a coffee.

I went for trains and there is a lot for train fans.
I went for trains and there is a lot for train fans. Two narrow gauge steam trains, only 15 minutes by train away from the main station: Weißeritztalbahn and Lößnitzgrundbahn. The Transport museum (Verkehrshaus) next to the Frauenkirche is also worth a visit. Take the 1.5 hour train east to Zittau and you get to another great and famous narrow gauge steam train line. And you are only scratching the surface here. If you are in the UK, take the Eurostar to London, then continue with the Eurosleeper in a direct train to Dresden. You can even easily make a day trip to Prague!
It was the best hotel room we've ever used!
Spotlessly clean!
The spacious walk-in shower with its closed-on-all-sides system, perfect!
Super comfortable bed!
The floor to ceiling windows, an extra treat.
Close to the bus/ train /tram station and centre of Dresden.
Close to a diversity of shops, but not noisy.
The young man at Reception who checked us in, very polite and professional. Sorry we didnt get his name.
All staff, from Catering to Maintrnsnce, 10 out of 10!
Will definetely go back 👍👍👍
Everything was well organized. Since we arrived outside reception working hours, instructions about picking up our apartment key and instructions to our building were excellent.
Rooms were clean. Apartment was perfect. Beautiful view, excellent facilities, heating system was excellent.
Excellent location. Perfect view in the old part of Dresden town. You just have to see in person.
I really recommended this hotel because for the money paid it was really a BEST BUY you can get in this area of Dresden.
This hotel is one of the few with a bit more urban and boutique vibe in Dresden. The location is great, close to train station but still rather quiet and very close to the bustling and hip Dresden Neustadt. Room was comfy, stylish, and clean, I had a nice view as well. Good TV (+ connect your own device), Wifi, and USB plugs at the bed were great add-ons. Breakfast was rich and delicious, hanging out in the lounge feels nice.
We loved the retro vibe of this hotel and felt instantly at home here. The staff greeted us warmly and were helpful and accommodating. Artushof is located right across the street from a number of buses and trams so it was easy to get around the city. And there's the gorgeous Grand Garden of Dresden less than a 20-minute walk away. We are definitely planning a future stay!
Beautiful property, friendly staff, centrally located. We’ve stayed in a few hotels in downtown Dresden and this one is the best for cleanliness, modernization, and views of the church. Things that are “extra” at other hotels in the area were included here. If you’re considering this hotel versus others around Frauenkirche, this is the one to choose!
ARCotel Dresden was a great, clean, modern and sleek hotel. Tram 4, 6, and 9 have a stop directly in front of the hotel which makes it extremely convenient to arrive to from Dresden-Neustadt trian station or to get quickly to city center. Also, the hotel has a great location relative to the Elbe river and the trail that runs along the river.
beautiful hotel in an excellent location.
The suit was exceptionally clean, the beds were very comfortable and we loved all the space.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly and made this weekend in Dresden very enjoyable.
I will be recommending this hotel to everyone that wants to explore Dresden.
I loved everything about the venue. Great breakfasts, comfy rooms, friendly, English-speaking staff, close to both the city center and clubs/bars district. Around 5-10 minutes walk from the Dresden-Neustadt train station. Would definitely choose the hotel again.
Really love hotel, right in the centre of the Old Town in Dresden. Easy walking distance to the main square and sites, just across the bridge from the new town. The room was gigantic and well designed, breakfast was good. Staff helpful.
Amazing hotel! One of the best breakfast I ever saw in a hotel in Europe. Very comfortable rooms and bed, nice staff and 50 meters from the main train station in Dresden. Walking distance to the old town. Luxury shower and a nice view.
Next to the pedestrian zone, i.e. close to all places worth visiting in Dresden. Parking on-site but not easy to access because of location (with the booking confirmation, the hotel provides a map, which is extremely helpful)
The location of the hotel is perfect, just at the historic centre of Dresden. From there you can easily access old town, Elba river or shopping malls in Dresden. The staff was very friendly and eager to help with everything.
The hotel room was very comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal. The hotel is located a short ride by tram from the train station and is centrally located in Old Town Dresden. Our room had a nice balcony.
Very nice hotel, good location within 1 km to old town of Dresden, clean rooms, comfortable beds, superb breakfast, polute staff, easily accessible underground parking, would recommend!
The staff at reception were very welcoming and very helpful with great advice for seeing the best of Dresden - best hotel staff we have experienced in Germany
