I liked the location of this hotel, the cleanliness and staff were lovely.
I felt this was good value for money and very close to the centre of Bochum.
I was staying here as a solo traveller whilst on a study trip for 5 nights. I felt safe in the city and in the hotel.
I liked that it is coded entry rather than having a key card.
The room was ideal for what I needed. A comfy bed, hot shower and storage for clothes etc.
Overall very happy with the hotel. The room was a perfect size for a solo traveller.

Rest of the Center felt a bit difficult to navigate and empty later in the day though admittedly on working days so it might be better in the weekend.
Highlander Games has great Board Game Stock but mostly for the German speaking audience.
The Matrix is a must go place for a concert.
Paddy's Irish Pub may be small but has nice ambience and a great price on the Guinness.

I was in Bochum to visit friends, but was pleasantly...
I was in Bochum to visit friends, but was pleasantly surprised with all the city had to offer! The Stadtpark is lovely, with lots of hiking trails and some paddle boats, and the view from the Bismarck tower was very good (and free!). I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Mining Museum underground tour - very informative and fun! There is so much green in the city, and many shopping opportunities and excellent transport. It's also easy to travel to other locations. We visited the half-timber houses of Hattingen and also Dusseldorf (only about 30 min trip by train). Our favourite restaurants were the tapas bar Uno Mas, and the innovative restaurant The Living Room.

If you need to eat, visit the Bermuda dreieck where you have two blocks of restaurants. Choosing might be a challenge.
Bochum is worth a trip. Take extra time.

Bochum was really lovely at Christmas time.
Bochum was really lovely at Christmas time. The decorations in the centre we’re lovely and welcoming.
Eating out is also great and there is lots of choice - but many places got booked up at the weekend, so booking ahead is essential.
A spacious flat in a typical worker's apartment building with the charme of old but modern looks and configuration. Two big sleeping rooms with each a king and twin bed offer ample space for families. Home is in convenient location, with easy access to the main A40 highway. We found street parking without issue for all days. The Netto supermarket just up the street is another asset. Check in and out were easy. Recommended and definitely going to consider again for a next visit to Bochum.
The hotel is very close to Lennershof station where you can go to Bochum Bahnhof within 20 minutes. The room is slightly small but it has everything you need — towel, hairdryer, mugs, cotton buds, shower, shower gel, shampoo, a kettle, plugs, clothes hangers, free Wi-Fi, and toilet rolls. The bed is comfortable. The host is very friendly and she gave me so much bread and cheese that I couldn’t finish as breakfast. The service was great.
It was exactly as expected, a budget hotel with limited facilities and everything a little small.... But the pleasure was the staff friendliness, ability to check in as early as I liked (I got there around midday, not 3pm as suggested on the booking site). The ease of parking a cost was also a bonus. When I asked for two extra pillows, they came to my room with them within 10 mins. For the price, an excellent deal.
We had a really good time for a weekend in appartment Bochum! It is a good base to go for example to bottrop alpincenter. Easy to get to Bochum centre by public transport. The communication before and during our stay was clear and fast. The spacious appartement is very new, clean and has everything you need. Especially the bathtub and the coffee is what we enjoyed. Thank you mr en mrs Zimmerman!
The overall composition of the apartment is great - very convenient for couples, families or larger (ideally 4 people) groups. The amenities are modern and new, easy-to-use, and in a perfect shape. Location is also nice - not far from the vibrant parts of Bochum, and at the same time in calm neighbourhood. Proximity to the extraordinary Westpark is great.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good wifi. Comfortable beds on the hard side. Very clean. Quiet. Power plug at bedside. Little desk with comfortable chair. Very good breakfast with many warm and cold options. Starlight Express next door, soccer stadion around the corner, large park and several restaurants within walking distance.
It is really close to the Hauptbahnhof, very comfortable and easy-to-find in that respect.
