This area of the Czech Republic is really beautiful and we found the Saxon Switzerland Park in the Czech side to be as beautiful as the German side. The hikes we took around Ruzova and Mezna were really enjoyable and we can't wait to return.

Great low-budget place if you're primarily after hiking on the nearby trails and just need somewhere you can sleep, cook in a kitchen and shower. The place is clean (but not a 4-star hotel sort of clean), beds are comfortable enough to get a cosy sleep after a day full of hiking, and the kitchen actually exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and available equipment, cutlery and crockery. It's not glamorous, but perfect for hikers and in my opinion amazing value for money because it's cheap. The host is great, speaks english fluently enough to explain everything.

Ideal for an active holiday - especially for visiting the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and many other attractions nearby. In the village and its surroundings there are a cheap tennis court, a golf course, a football pitch, cycling and hiking trails. Eating out is affordable and tasty.
Perfect base for visiting the national park of České Švýcarsko. Růžová is a beautiful village where there are a few things to do, it's not far from the the famous touristic attractions and quiet in the same time. It's great to have the local products as a breakfast and possibility to purchase them.
