One of the gateways to Patagonia, less than 2 hours drive from Hosteria Pehoe. Direct flight from Santiago, everything is convenient, except there is no car rental place at airport. But it is only a 10 min taxi ride to town.

I chose Puerto Natales because it has an airport close to Torres del Paine.
I did four excursions to view the outdoor beauty of southern Chile.
I walked to the bus station to acquire information ... I was pleasantly surprised that a bus can take me futher south, near the tip of South Amarica.

Puerto Natales is a very cool town.
Puerto Natales is a very cool town. We stayed in the park for 2-3 nights and in Puerto Natales for 1 prior to a flight early in the AM. We enjoyed walking through town and had EXCELLENT food at La Disqueria!! It seemed like there were MANY options to stay in PN and travel into TDP - which would be much more cost-efficient than staying in the park! A great city!

There isn’t a whole lot to do in the town itself, you can probably see everything in one day, and the weather is unpredictable even in the summer. It’s walkable and there are some cool shops and restaurants that largely cater to tourists. Most people come here because they are going to hike or tour Torres Del Paine, to see the glaciers, or both, and they don’t want to spend $500 USD or more per night to stay in the park. Figure out how many excursions you want to do, and give yourself an extra day to check out the town.

Puerto Natales is an easily navigated small town and a good jumping off point for tours and trips to Torres del Paine, one of Chile's most famous national parks and hiking trails, as well as for catamaran tours to see the glaciers. The town is equipped with a number of good restaurants, outdoor/sports stores and supermarkets, making it a good place to stop before and/or after excursions. It has a beautiful waterfront. It is cool year round, cold in the winter, keep in mind this region of Chile includes Antarctica so you should always be prepared for wind and cold, although we did have a few relatively warm afternoons.

This is a launching point for treks, adventure hikes, wilderness kayaking trips, etc. During the season, it's crowded with tourists in transit and usually here just for a night or two as they embark or return from an excursion to nearby Torres del Paine, or other areas of nature to explore. It feels like the bulk of the restaurants, shops and stores therefore cater to the needs of monied tourists and so it's expensive.
Fabulous place to stay in Puerto Natales. Very central, near stores, and restaurants. The house has a large living room with a beautiful kitchen and a hidden and spacious garden. The rooms are large, very clean, beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, and very quiet. The host is very friendly and a great chat, and he even gave me a lift to the airport. They have lockers where you can leave your stuff while going on a trek to Torres del Paine National Park.
Highly recommended :). Hope to be back someday.
We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. After a long journey we felt comfortable right away. It was cold and stormy outside in Puerto Natales, so it was amazing to arrive to a very warm accommodation with a very nice welcome through the host! The hostel seemed very clean, plenty of showers were available, so no waits for the shared bathrooms. The breakfast was good with a a nice feature provided, a sandwich toaster :) We enjoyed the proximity to the water for a nice morning walk with a coffee.
One of the best hostels in town, recommended by Adam the hiker YouTuber. The staff is amazing and helpful, breakfast included and very nice. They have very nice public space, luggage storage for free and taxi services. Also ATM and banks nearby. I stayed here for 4 nights. They prefer to not pay in booking because it might take commission, it is cheaper to pay in cash once you arrive there without reservation. One tip is to directly reserve the hostel. It actually saves your money.
Great location, very near the Plaza de Armas. Beautiful big room. The greatest shower in the history of the world...giant shower head with wonderful flow. The pool is heated to 24 degrees, so slightly cool, but nice none the less. Breakfast is nice ( and the ladt serving beeakfast is a wonderful, very nice person who is very helpful). Wonderful hotel, and overall incredible value for money (I stayed in the last few days of September, so still low season)
Perfect quiet location in downtown Puerto Natales. We stayed here one night before and one night after our W hike. Our bags were very kindly stored while on the hike. Room was spotless clean and everything worked great. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was super convenient to have. Large supermarket is an easy 10 minute walk away. Also, there’s an excellent restaurant across the street (run by a very talented Venezuelan chef).
The property is in a great location, close to restaurants, cafes, shops, and downtown. Very clean and comfy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had a heavy suitcase and they insisted on carrying it up the stairs for me. I would definitely stay there again if I make it back down. We really enjoyed our stay and our time in Puerto Natales. We stayed here in December and they had lovely Christmas lights up inside.
This hostel is a gem. It felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. The decor and facilities like new and the staff was warm, welcoming and very attentive. Best place to stay in Puerto Natales. (We walked around to check out others and none compared to the quality of La Factoria). Breakfasts and dinners were quite tasty as well. Loved our time here. Thank you Natalia, Manuel, And Fernando! Saludos desde Puerto Rico.
We knew this place was highly recommended for the hospitality, breakfast, and location and it delivered on all fronts. We had a great stay, the owner was so sweet to us, and we were able to see Puerto Natales by walking around which was nice. The room was spotless and the private bathroom was as well. We were there during the offseason so it was quiet, but even when busy, I'm sure the place has plenty of privacy.
This was a great apartment for our stay in puerto natales, we stayed both before and after completing the o trek. We really liked the facilities, space and location - the kitchen so we could cook, the washing machine so we could clean our gear, and the large kitchen/diner area separate from the bedroom. The location is also great, really close to the bus station but also walking distance to the high street
Location was excellent right in the middle of town. Rooftop bar was great and our room had an amazing view of the water. The room was very comfortable, clean, and modern, and staff were super friendly. Breakfast was great. They held our luggage for 5 days while we did the W Trek. While I only walked around to see other hotels, would venture to say this is the best hotel for the money in Puerto Natales.
Well-designed hotel with ski lodge feel. Lovely, helpful staff. High quality fixtures and fittings. Crisp, white bedlinen. Really comfortable bed. Bright, airy rooms. Hot power shower. Hairdryer and good toiletries. Perfect, central location near restaurants. Welcome drink in top floor bar was a thoughtful touch. Pisco sour with a view! Breakfast was plentiful. Real coffee. Would go back.
Hotel is perfectly located in the center of Puerto Natales, the staff is super friendly and was happy to accommodate early breakfast for us because we had to leave early. There is a very nice area both upstairs and downstairs where you can relax. The room was nothing special, but clean and well-maintained.
Absolutely amazing place to stay in Puerto Natales. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the breakfast was very delicious and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Puerto Natales.
The room was very clean, beds comfortable, the hotel itself was very unique and cool with its layout and art of the native Chileans. We were only there for 1 quick night and didn't get to eat breakfast but everything there was great
The shower is nice, warm and a good beam.
The beds are comfortable
The host is very nice and makes you feel really welcome.
The location is perfect, close to everything.
Very good name for a hotel in Puerto Natales.
what an amazing place. I think it’s the best place in Puerto Natales after staying in a few top hotels in the area. interior design is outstanding, service is superb. highly recommend it!
The hotel is close to necessities and restaurants in Puerto Natales, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The small continental breakfast is very thoughtful and delicious.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff! My room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great - equidistant from the bus terminal and downtown Puerto Natales. Highly recommend!
