Breakfast was OK but after staying overniht, we didnt have any high expectations. This hotel is about as bare bones as u can make it. They had parking for only 6 cars and if u left and those parking slots were taken, you would be SOL. we left the car parked and the host gave us free bus passes to use to get into town, as its too far to walk. the host tried to make our stay more comfortable.

A lovely spot on Lake Geneva with beautiful views. (I personally think it's the most beautiful place on the whole lake.) It's no wonder that Charlie Chaplin chose to live in this area. When you stay you receive a Riviera Card which gives you free bus travel to places like nearby Montreux, which is also well worth a visit.

Sweet little town close to Montreux. Quiet over the weekend with a few interesting sights to visit. Nice lakeside with lots of restaurants and cafes (all closed on Sunday when we visited). Quite a few cute cafes were open in the town though.

Beautiful relaxing little town. Walked around the waterfront and the old town. Also loved the easy access to Geneva and the small towns around.
I'd probably avoid staying in the area next to the station coz it felt sketchy.

Vevey is a lovely small city on Lake Geneva. It has old cobblestone streets in the historic area, and lovely sidewalks all along the lake. It's a convenient hopping off point for other interesting places to visit and a stone's throw from Chillon Castle.

We came to Vevey specifically to see the Charlie Chaplin...
We came to Vevey specifically to see the Charlie Chaplin museum/estate, as my wife was a Chaplin/silent film fan since she was a child. Well worth the trip with a full overview of Chaplin's life, family life, movie career, and humanitarian interests. Plan to spend 4-5 hours there.
this is a beautiful and comfy hotel with a lovely garden for drinks or meals. Beyond the usual amenaties at a 5 star hotel like great beds, beautiful room, we loved the attention to detail such as: chocolate welcome gift, daily water, light dimmer in the bathroom so it can be soothing at night (my own bugbear), a heated mirror in the bathroom that gave a small clear square after showering. we chose a balcony room facing the lake, on the second floor. stunning views!
I much appreciated the quiet location, the cleaningness of the place and the room, and the parking (outside and the garage). Great for travelling by car, close proximity to main roads. The hotel has garden and a nice terrace to sit outside. Very comfortable bed and really reasonable size of the room. Quick checkin and very friendly and helpful staff!

This is a great location in Vevey, just steps away from the lakefront, boat dock and lots of restaurants. There is no reception here. You will receive a keycode for the outer door and find your key in your room. We did receive daily room cleaning. Our room was just like the pictures and the bathroom was quite large. This is a great value for the Vevey area.
Great location between Vevey and Montreux, bus and train stop nearby, parking places available. Gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Beautiful garden, beach right in front of hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Our wishes got accommodated. Nice and comfortable hotel room. Breakfast good. .
We really enjoyed our stay in Vevey and at this hotel! We appreciated the warm and friendly welcome along with recommendations for the area. The hotel was very easy to get to via public transportation (bus stop right outside the hotel). The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable.
Beautiful and spacious room. Loved the view and small balcony. Very comfortable bed. The restaurant is on a wonderful terrace. Good food. I also enjoyed swimming in the indoor lap pool. There is a nice outdoor area to relax and sunbathe. The location of the hotel is terrific!
The location is perfect. On one side there is access to the promenade near the lake, on the other hand, you can stroll through the center of the old town. From the hotel terrace, there is a breathtaking view of the mountains and lake.

The breakfast was great and the location of the hotel, up the hill a bit from Vevey in Chatreaux, was in a really cute and historic area. Very picturesque and quiet.
