Such a magic place! We got a free room upgrade and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room was decorated with love and there were so many little surprises. The view on the Bernese Alps was stunning. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good nights rest. The breakfast was wonderful and the host very attentive. We will certainly go back there!

I liked everything about the hotel, but the hosts Marcel and Monika are really nice people. They were always helpful and willing to give us tips on interesting places to visit. Even after we left the hotel I received messages from them with good information about Lucerne, which was the next city we visited.

A great concept allowing customers to bring own food and drinks, cook, enjoy coffee, relax in the communal lounge, enjoy a drink or self catered meal on the terrace as the sun sets. Rooms are imaginative with great use of wall space. Cosy room is small but well designed for maximum comfort. Bed was the best I’ve slept in during our time in Switzerland. Staff are super helpful and provided detergent for free to use washing machine and dryer as well as helpful information about what to see and where to go. Located a short walk from the train station and next to large square with daily markets. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars close by. Aare river is a short stroll and we enjoyed an evening walk down along the river.

The location was good. The stuff was nice. The room was ok but not more than that.
