The room was very comfortable. We were in Zurich to attend the opera and the Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the opera house. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel.

Everything in Zurich is very expensive but this hotel seems good value. It is very comfortable , the staff are helpful and efficient and the breakfast is excellent . It is close to the station and also the old , more attractive part of the city.

The location is stunning and you feel at one with nature although so close to the city center. The terrace and outdoor area is a big plus and we were able to eat a perfect breakfast outside. The breakfast is with local produce and of excellent quality. The tea selection is also one of my favorites. It is also great connection for public transport and it's easy to jump on a tram to get you where you want to go. The forest is just behind you with lots of path options for shorter or longer walks.

Need to mention room cleaning needs to be improved as i was in the room when it was cleaned and watched how it was done. Cups for example are dried with a blue rag hanged on the side of the house keeper. Used Bathroom towels were used to wipe toilet.
Breakfast was very poor. No varieties. I booked online for 4 days for 320 dollars only to get there and was told it was 150 francs a night which is 600$. They wrote online that distance from the hotel to where I was going to was 5mins max but it was about 12mins so I was paying Uber 60francs everyday going and coming back. it was so frustrating. When I complained to the staff, he said that was online price. I believe they reduce their price online to get customers then when u get to the facility they tell u the real price. Too bad
