**Disappointing Experience at Ibis Budget Lugano Paradiso**
My recent stay at Ibis Budget Lugano Paradiso was highly disappointing. The room lacked even the most basic amenities expected from a hotel; there were no slippers, soap, or even towels provided. Furthermore, the air conditioning was non-functional, making the room uncomfortably warm, and the electrical outlets for charging devices were scarce. The cramped space of the room also resulted in a lack of ventilation, leaving it feeling suffocating and reminiscent of a prison cell. Considering the exorbitant price charged for such substandard conditions, staying at this hotel is simply unjustifiable. I strongly advise against it and would not recommend it even to my worst enemy.

The location was superb. The breakfast was excellent and so was the onsite restaurant. The beds were ok. The room was very clean and the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend.
This family-owned hotel is centrally located just a short walk from Lugano town center and its breathtaking lakeshore, and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many sidewalk cafés.

The location was great because it is only a few minutes walk to the train station as well as city center. We took the Bernina Express bus from Tirano to Lugano. From the Lugano bus station, cross the street and walk along the sidewalk towards the train station until you see the ramp that leads to the hotel. The hotel sign is hard to see as it is blocked by overgrown trees.
The room we stayed at was not spacious enough for us and our luggages but we didn’t mind it since we stayed there only for one night and it’s a very well maintained and clean hotel.
Breakfast was just the typical Swiss breakfast including but not limited to assorted bread, cheeses, bacon, scrambled eggs, cut up fruits.
The family-run Hotel Delfino has a privileged location close to the lake shore and next to the pedestrian area which leads into the heart of the city of Lugano.

When I reported this to reception, the guy on duty laughed. I asked for another room due to traffic noise all night. They had no other room so received a refund for second.night. There was also a fridge which didn't cool drinks at all and a tiny balcony overlooking the supermarket next door. There are other hotels in other towns along the lake ....
Everything was perfect from the rooms and design but the thing that made my stay more enjoyable

Friendly and uncomplicated Employees, eg. We could get the Tessin card (Oubkic tranport card) before the official Check in time.
Hotel is just far enough away from a trainstation, that there is no noise from the trains, but near enough that it is very convinient to go explore Tessin with public transport.
Hotel is very clean
Good hotel for its price, bed was very soft. I think it would be not fit for poeple with some kind of back deseases. Parking spot is not free, i paid 15 chf.
Convenient location near Agno train station, with restaurants and groceries nearby. Staff was friendly, and everything is brand new. Wifi is really good too.
