This hotel's staff were audaciously asking for 20% tips at breakfast. When we carried no cash, we were even ask to charge it to our room service bills. We are a senior couple travelling from U.S. and this was our first and last time to Hilton Garden Inn at Markham (Highway 7 and Highway 404). Very bad experience.

We were there for a funeral near by, so not really there to sightsee. There were some interesting shops nearby, though, and subway very close by so I would stay in future if we had other things planned in Toronto
Nothing, the room was completely different from the pictures online. TOTAL SCAM. Toilet doesn’t even stop bubbling. Door doesn’t even properly close. They put in this huge unnecessary table with 8 office chairs in the middle on the room. Washroom is 2 meters by 2. Worst experience. Do not recommend. Paid almost 400$ for a
room that was straight out of a horror film. Manager of the hotel took us as a joke. Unpleasant attitude.
The rooms are large and spacious. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful view. Very good coffee machine. Nice to have a microwave and a fridge. The location of the hotel is excellent on the border of North York and Thornhill giving access to both. The breakfast was very pleasant with a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, toast, waffles, pancakes, porridge and boiled eggs.
Staff are all so nice and accommodating! Very responsive and attentive. The king sized bed is so comfortable. Sheets and towels are clean. Wonderful to be able to cook on the hot plates, use the microwave, full fridge and dishwasher. Quiet location and hotel. Feels like home! Went for walks in the community. Close to Hwy 7 and the DVP.
It's a very decent hotel with large rooms, although slightly dated. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and enjoyed our stay overall. We loved that we could bring our dog and there was enough space for all of us. Breakfast was included but it was in a "grab and go" format due to COVID restrictions.
Great and clean facility for extended stay. Close to highway 7 and in a nice neighbourhood with all amenities close by. most of the hotel staff are courteous. My favourite is Dhana who is in charge of breakfast during weekdays. She is kind and makes sure our day starts right with a good breakfast 😄
Absolutely everything! The place is cozy, you feel like home. The most beautiful thing in this place is honestly it’s owners! Sara and Isaac are lovely couple who treated us and our kids as part of their family! We absolutely recommend this place for anyone wants to stay in Toronto!
Very well kept hotel with good amenities. The 2 bedroom suite was exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was convenient and stocked well. Location was in a very clean neighbourhood and felt very safe with plenty of parking. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was generally good, the facilities were okay, and it was clean. It was located right by Hwy7 and can be easily reached by bus. There are many nice Asian restaurants near the hotel so that it would be a pleasant stay if you enjoy the Asian cuisines.
We stayed in the hotel only for 1 night. We arrived very late, we were tired. The lady on the registration did a great job registering us really quickly. She explained everything we needed and was very kind and hospitable.
The bed was large and comfortable and had lots of blankets. Very large room. The hostess is very nice.
She provided a heater. It’s in a decent location in Thornhill and easy to get to public transportation.
Very good overall. The server at the restaurant was kind and very good. My daughter forgot her clothes at the hotel and the Manager was kind enough to send it to us. OUTSTANDING
