The room was filthy. We didn’t get service as in clean towels or the room made up the 2 nights we were there. We were told the door was locked. We were not in our room the whole time except to sleep. You had to use some oomph to open the door and our chambermaids were men! Ladies running the desk and the men cleaning rooms. Someone had never opened the curtains in I don’t know when but the window sill was just disgusting with dead bugs, spider webs, dirt, and obvious never been cleaned forever.

The location was great. Close to all areas of the town. At night the area was very quiet. No traffic noise at all in the room and we were facing the highway. Mr. Mike's restaurant was right next door but it is quite expensive and the food was mediocre. Devonshire beach is a great place to go for swimming, sunbathing and fishing. the lake is super when the wind isn't blowing. There are several restaurants in town. Most are good and Boston Pizza is very good as is Ta's restaurant.
This hotel is centrally located in town near eating and shopping establishments. The friendly staff are helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is included and consists of a variety of hot and cold foods and drinks. The coffee is hot and quite good! Something for everyone. Rooms are clean and comfy, with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good wifi through out. A clean pool for swimming is a pleasant bonus
It was all that I expected from a Motel in a town like Slave Lake,, There was a walking trail in the woods behind , I liked that.
very close to all things that one needs. I liked the staff, I do not like people who are too eager to please, I am annoyed by those, so the staff was just perfect yet helpful and professional.

Alberta is still in covid19 lockdown and the complimentary breakfast buffet was closed. If you ask reception, the hotel has prepared a breakfast in a brown paper bag to go. Twas a decent surprise.

Did not require private parking after asking for it during the booking process. The parking lot in front of the hotel was more than adequate.
This is a great property very clean the rooms are really nice, the breakfast was fantastic we really enjoyed it, the bed was so comfortable I would highly recommend this hotel.
location was good, quiet and handicap parking right outside the door. Breakfast was average. About the same as many other hotels that have the continental breakfast bar.
