The room overlooking the bay was spectacular. We rearranged the furniture to place two chairs enabling us to hold hands, share a glass of wine and put our feet up on the ledge and enjoy the view for almost 4 hours. We reconnected. Magic.

The room had a fresh clean smell, the thermostat was set to a comfortable temperature which we didn't adjust, the staff was friendly and efficient, the hallways were quiet......the check in and out was seamless. We requested a room on ground level and were politely accommodated.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. As it was early in May and the night was cool, we loved that we were able to manually control the heat to our liking. The gardens are also lovely for sitting, a nice touch indeed.
Miscouche is a small community just outside Summerside.
Miscouche is a small community just outside Summerside. We did not spend much time there, but did walk around a bit and drive to Belmont Provincial Park nearby. An old railway line has been repurposed as running/ cycling trail that included benches and some wildlife. We found it to be a wonderfully shaded lane for our morning run and did spot a fox chasing some crows in an adjacent field. This is just a short distance south, maybe 500 m, from our stay.
