Spectacular location overlooking the endless greenery of Wilsons Prom yet very accessible to a local grocery and the main town center. The big glass windows of the bedroom and the hallway makes a picture perfect view of the scenery. The facilities were good, the place is very modern, facilities provided were perfect for cooking and making breakfast in the cabin. Bathroom and bedroom are very spacious. Everything was cleaned well too. I so love the place, it’s so far the best accommodation of this whole trip. The host was super nice and accommodating and quick to reply to my questions.

Lovely and clean short walk to the beach and easy drive to Wilson’s Prom. A lot of reviews talk about how scary the driveway way is, yes it’s steep but very easy to manage

Yanakie is a small area near the entrance to the Wilson Promontory Park. It has a pizza restaurant and garage/general store. A good place to get accommodation for exploring the Prom if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Tidal River site. Pizza restaurant is a bonus as the only place for proper food in the area.

Not much to say. Close to beautiful Wilsons Prom.
Not much to say. Close to beautiful Wilsons Prom. Has a good Local pizza shop with a general store and Petrol station. The guy in the general store was rude and grumpy. He carried on about covid rules and mask-wearing even though I had an exemption. Lucky it was when we were on our way out.

The peace and quiet was terrific would have liked a few more days. The cabin had everything you would need and the bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed our week end very much. Thankyou to James and Sandra great hosts.

The perfect base to explore Wamoon/Wilson's Promontory and...
The perfect base to explore Wamoon/Wilson's Promontory and South Gippsland. Plenty of foodie options in nearby Fish Creek and Foster, art including the Celia Rosser gallery and plenty of adventures and stunning scenery.
Yanakie si a cute little mini town with General Store and the Pizza Restaurant. The last Petrol Station there.
The Wilsons Holiday Park is close to the Prom. We managed to do all walks we planned. Recommended stay if someone wants to explore the beautiful Wilsons.
Highly recommended is the Little Drift walk...between number 2 and number 3 orange pole - approximately 2.5km driving from the Gate...on the left side. The walk is about 20 min one way.
The cabins are situated on a family owned property at Yanakie, the gateway to Wilsons Promitory, with great views of the surrounding land. Our cabin was comfortable, clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed. It was a quiet, relaxing place to stay with lovely gardens and large expanse of lawn. Highly recommend staying here.
The location to the Prom is brilliant
Any criticism I give is balanced by the location to the Prom, and we really enjoyed exploring it.
The staff are friendly & helpful
They sell bags of ice amongst other things on-site so there's no need to drive into Yanakie & that was good for us.
Brilliant view great cottage fantastic amenities. Bottle of wine and chocolates coffee , tea close to wilsons prom and yanakie General store and service station.
