The hotel was perfect for our needs. We just wanted a 2 night stay to go hiking, which was easy direct from the hotel. I booked the hotel because of its parking but knew in my head there would be no spaces available by the time we got there having read many reviews. It wasn't a problem we were directed by the very friendly staff to another car park around the corner, secure and underground, it was expensive (27.50 Euros/24 hours) but you have to factor in parking costs when staying in Andorra. The room was large with an extremely comfortable large bed. There was a fridge with 2 small complimentary bottles of water. We were on the top floor and although we faced the town, even with the window open at night it was quiet. The bathroom was clean and not a bad size, it was old fashioned but functional. Breakfast was ok, with a reasonable choice of hot and cold buffet but nothing to really praise. One thing that was really good, I chose the hotel on the account of a picture of a long parking bay at the entrance which allowed a 15 minute stay to check-in and get all the luggage out before going off to find parking, That was a bonus as the streets are quite narrow and lots of one way systems making traffic tight. It was a 2 minute walk away from the main pedestrian shopping area (and our car park) with restaurants for the evening.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A hiking trail started directly in front of the hotel. Beautiful view from the roof top (although not entirely accessibile at this time).

Wonderful and comfortable hotel with a great coffee shop right in the centre. Yet, it was quiet at night, and the bed was very comfortable. I especially liked the special touch with sustainable and plastic-free bottles of shower gel and shampoo. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Parking was around the corner on public parking, but apparently, they also have their own with limited spaces, so reserving a spot in advance is recommended.
The modern Hotel Fenix is 150 metres from Caldea Spa in Escaldes-Engordany and offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views and free WiFi area. It has a wellness area, available for an extra charge.

Everything about our stay was wonderful!
Monica, our host, made us feel right at home. She was extremely helpful, sharing general tips of what to do around town. The property is extremely clean and well decorated. Our room was in perfect conditions, and we had our own private patio for our dog.
The breakfast, although simple, was tasty and more than enough to get out day started.
Lastly, we were quite impressed of how beautiful the town of La Cortinada is. The pictures on Google do not do justice.

The hotel staff was very nice, the lady at the front desk helped us to make a call when we realised we got an eSIM with no phone calls and had to book a restaurant. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, we slept very well. We didn't try the spa so not rating it.
decent room, decent facilities, the fact that you can book the spa and don't have to be weird with strangers thats a nice touch. Felt a bit like a family hotel with all the local gathering for the new years, trying to munch their grapes. Stuff is also quite helpful.
