Vip Flotante er staðsett 4,6 km frá Estadio Enrique Torres Belon og býður upp á gistirými með verönd. the family was great, they were so friendly and generours to have us with them. Only Lina was able to speak English but nevertheless we were able to communicate with the husband and the kids. Lina is a great cook and she served us traditional food (simple). When we needed a lift they were always on time. The loft is nice and the best part of it is the balcony. The shower has hot water.

The accommodation, the setup, the view, and finally Juan/his family and the hospitality. It's hard to imagine you're staying on a floating island once you're inside. With floor to ceiling windows, sun room (2nd floor) and an outside lounge area, Juan's place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Finally, the hospitality - Juan spent a considerable time explaining the Uros culture, what goes into the making of a village/house/boat. We even spent time making handicrafts to take home - a beautiful souvenir.

Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru er staðsett í Puno og býður upp á gistirými með útsýni yfir vatnið og morgunverð daglega. Gististaðurinn er 7 km frá miðbænum og beint fyrir framan Titicaca-stöðuvatnið. Eddy and his family are wonderful. They made getting to and from their island so easy (and we had a very early bus when we left). We stayed two nights and whilst this experience may not be for everyone, it has been a highlight of our trip so far. The accommodation is (and has to be) very simple. You're on a floating platform of reeds! But it's a good size, the bed is comfortable and lovely and warm (helped by Eddy's mama's wrapped hot water bottles). It gets COLD at night as others have mentioned but tucked up snugly it doesn't matter. Bathroom facilities are verrrry basic, if you like cold water you're in for a treat. And it really isn't the place for anyone unsteady on their feet. You're walking on planks on top of reeds and climbing uneven stairs. If these are not an issue then treat yourself to a couple of nights there, it's magic. Also, Eddy includes a great 2 hour tour which is a must. He took us out at 10am and we had lunch at one of the other islands (also included).

Uros Samarana Uta Lodge er staðsett í Puno og býður upp á sólarverönd og fjallaútsýni. Titicaca-vatn er 7 km frá gististaðnum. The host was lovely, sorted out transport from the bus station all the way there and back. Looked after us, we didn't need to do anything, food sorted, activities and tours sorted. Welcomed us into the community, it was a privilege to be there. The views from our room and our outside terrace with bed was stunning! It was also nice to eat dinner with the other guests and get to know them, there was a lovely group there. Accommodated vegetarian diet with variety for the couple of days we were there. Kept us very warm throughout our stay!

UROS TITICA LODGE Puno Peru er byggt á fljótandi eyjum Uros, í 30 mínútna siglingu undan strönd Puno, og býður upp á gistirými í hæstu tignarlega stöðuvatni í heimi. This lodge is just perfect. For sure one of the best places in which we have ever stayed. The service that we received from Ivan was magnificent. He picked us at the shore of the lake and took us to the lodge. He was always ready to help us and do the different activities in the lake and Uros community with us. The facilities are very beautiful and everything was built by Ivan and his family. If you want a mesmerizing view of the lake, this is the best place to stay!!! WE TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!

Uros Summa Paqari er staðsett á eyjunni Uros, í Puno, 7 km fjarlægð frá Titicaca-stöðuvatninu. Puno-höfnin er í 5 km fjarlægð. Öll herbergin eru með sérbaðherbergi. The location had amazing views - what else could you ask for being situated in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Vidal and his family were lovely and friendly. The rooms was exactly as the photo depicted. Our favorite spot would be the lounge area by the lake where you can just sit the whole day. The bathroom is also very comfortable - their toilet is flushable and they have a water heater. Lots of blankets are provided to keep you warm during the night. The food they served though simple was actually one of the best we had in Peru, and that's after dining at Lima and Cusco.

Uros Qhantany Lodge er staðsett 5 km frá ströndinni í Puno og er byggt á fljótandi eyjum Uros. Boðið er upp á gistirými miðsvæðis í Titicaca-vatni. Puno-ströndin er í 30 mínútna fjarlægð með bát. Wilburt and Delia were amazing hosts, who were super friendly, sweet, caring and more than just hosts. For 3 days it felt like family. Locationwise it is an amazing location for a romantic get away and time to spent together. The stary sky, the beautiful lakeview of titicaca lake are very special and make it a stay to remember. Wilburt and Delia will endulge you in local cultural aspects of their life and will show you the Urus island way of living. Absolut must recommendation. We loved our stay and would come back any time. The bed is amazing, you will never sleep cosier than in this hotel.

Everything was perfect, its the most relaxing magical spot ever. Cristain was great and helped us with everything. Thank you so much!
