Northwood Motor Lodge is a 4-star motel on the edge of Christchurch, only 8km from the airport. The motel offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. My parents and I stayed only one night unfortunately. The accommodation is just off the highway so perfect for road trips. The room had the quality of a hotel and the comfort and utilities of an apartment. Excellent quality and all the necessary items required.Peter and his wife Tess have been most friendly and extremely helpful with my sick dad. Definitely recommend this beautiful accommodation for single, couple or family travelers. An exceptional place indeed.

Plenty of space, good location and not too far from local restaurants. The breakfast food and drinks were a plus. We loved feeding the animals.

Hideaway - A Couples Retreat is situated in Akaroa and offers a terrace. This cottage has a garden and free private parking. Quiet, isolated, quaint, comfortable. Great to have breakfast on the porch on a sunny morning overlooking the garden while serenaded by many birds.

Offering mountain views, Pukaki Air Lodge in Twizel offers accommodation, barbecue facilities, a terrace and a shared lounge. Complimentary WiFi is available. Awesome property, welcoming host!

Quail Rest is located on Totara Peak Station which is a working High Country Station situated on the shores of Lake Benmore 22kms from Twizel township. Free WiFi and private parking is included. Everything, though about 10 minutes off the beaten path it didn’t matter once you got there. On the front porch you looked right at Mount Cook. The house itself was immaculate and the appointments were top notch. If you are staying for a few days do not miss this one.

Located in Hanmer Springs, Woodbank Park Cottage is an architect designed stand alone cottage offering a log fire, sun terrace and BBQ facilities. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was super clean. It was a bonus to have fresh eggs.

Cedar Lodge Motel boasts a garden. everything was working , fuss free smooth check in overall, the place is good for groups equipped with all the necessaries

Just a 2-minute walk from beautiful Lake Tekapo, Lexi's Lodge features mountain views and a private garden with outdoor furniture. Hosts were amazing and so lovely to deal with! We loved every bit of our stay! We ended being snowed in and they gratefully let us stay while the road got unblocked… our stay was magical and we would definitely love to come back! So warm and cosy Highly recommend
