Danta Corcovado Lodge offers its guests a library, Wi-Fi access in public areas free of charge and extensive gardens. Tea and coffee services are available from 06:00 to 22:00 hours. The outdoor reception and dining area are a great open space, welcoming guests and making us feel very comfortable and relaxed! You can see how much creativity and love for detail went into constructing all buildings and cabins at Danta Corcovado Lodge. I loved the way the cabins were built and especially the “outdoor” bathrooms (still full privacy guaranteed).

Set in Barrigones, La Amapola Lodge, Bungalow en Península de Osa. Offers accommodation with a private pool, a patio and river views. Loved the pool area. Nice to sit and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Could absolutely see returning with a bigger group.

Offering garden views, Finca la Bonita, Playa Carate in Carate offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden and a terrace. A patio with mountain views is offered in each unit. This place is a hidden gem! A rustic cabin with the basic facilities you need to experience the jungle up close and immerse yourself in nature. Christian and Gabriel, along with Marley the dog, are welcoming local hosts who have a huge amount of insight, history, and knowledge to share. They offer different tours, and we recommend all 3 we did - the day tour in Corcovado, kayaking, and night turtles. They also offer meals if you let them know in advance (there are no easy options locally, so we'd highly recommend), and this made the stay really easy too. This cabin is for those looking to experience the jungle on their doorstep (literally!), if you are after a luxurious stay there are eco lodges nearby, but for an authentic experience (and possibly stepping out of your comfort zone) we would 110% recommend staying here. With Rincon Beach reachable in a few steps, Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a bar. Sam and his family were really welcoming. We loved staying there. The bungalow was surrounded by nature and so close to the beach. The food was very nice too. Would highly recommend :-)

Set in Cabo Matapalo in the Puntarenas region and Tamales Beach reachable within 200 metres, Four Monkeys Eco Lodge - Jungle & Beach offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and... The cabins / tents in the jungle make it amazing! We saw several types of monkeys , the macaws and toucans! Walked to a great waterfall. We enjoyed the hosts very much and the friendly cats and dogs made a most memorable experience. Thank you very much!!

Amazonita Ecolodge is situated in Dos Brazos in the heart of the Jungle, 16 km from Puerto Jimenez. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating area. We loved the warm welcome from all the friendly furry friends- adorable dogs and the sweetest kitten Aurora. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. The sounds of the jungle during the night was amazing. The areas were as clean as can be, don’t forget you are in the jungle, it’s an open concept.

Situated in Palo Seco, 15 km from Puerto Jiménez, Finca Kobo features a terrace and views of the mountains. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Amazing tour around the organic farm, very insightful and inspiring!

Everything was incredible. We had the most intense, magical and loving stay at Luna Lodge. Every part of taking a holiday here is different from anywhere else you could stay. On top of the incredible location, scenery, animals, food, beach, Lana is a beautiful soul that welcomes you into her family and will leave a lasting impression on you forever.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Kalea Yard Hotel is located in Puerto Jiménez. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available in this tropical lodge. No breakfast, but great coffee! The host was friendly and helpful. She arranged a taxi for me when it was time to leave.
