With La Fortuna Waterfall reachable in 5.7 km, Arenal Xilopalo offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. Great location close to the heart of La Fortuna, and the host was really accommodating with our late arrival at 10 pm. The place was spick and span and well decorated. Overall very comfortable and a nice stay!

This is the best place to stay in Arenal/La Fortuna area! Even though it was raining and we didn’t get to see the Volcano, the hotel is beautiful and the staff is spectacular! A special shoutout to Darwell and the Chef, the food was spectacular!!!! Definitely the best meals we had in all of Costa Rica. The ceviche was the best we have had hands down!

Featuring mountain views, Onca Tours & Treehouses in San Rafael features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free... We have stayed in many different places in La fortuna area and for one day we stayed in the tree house in Rio celeste area(limit 100$ per day). We did not want leave. This stay was by far better for a similar price. More comfy bed, clean soft towels, tasty food, nice idea of being elevated while watching birds in trees.

Edwardo was excellent. He happened to be available and took a little bit of time after dark to explore around with me with flashlights looking at frogs and bugs. I loved it. If you put more effort into your Spanish speaking skills than I did, I bet you'd tap into an absolute wealth of knowledge chatting with him. Breakfast in the morning was super good with great birdwatching right there! I'd definitely return, and I'd definitely recommend to a friend.

Situated in Fortuna, 14 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 7.5 km from Kalambu Hot Springs, Las Pavitas Cottages features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. Beautiful uninterrupted view of the Arenal volcano and valley. Quiet, rural setting with a few cabins nearby. The bedroom had double windows opening on to the patio. It was a good size with 2 comfortable queen beds and a put up bed for a child. Aircon was only in the bedroom, it was quiet and efficient. There was a large shower unit with lots of hot water. Cushioned seats and a table were on a covered patio which was large enough to use during a downpour. The settee in the living area was a good size. The kitchen has a full sized freestanding cooker with 4 rings , a microwave, rice steamer, and mini oven grill, coffee machine and kettle. Cooking utensils were limited to spoons/ slice and a knife. There were plenty of pans & a colander. The 11kg load washing machine was a bonus. Daniel was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We were delighted when he introduced us to Freddy a local sloth at the end of the drive.

Great location right on the river. nice bungalows, very clean, spacious with comfortable beds and loved the outside bathroom. Employees are all very nice and helpful. we booked 2 nights but added a night. such a peaceful place, highly recommend. The food was simple but fresh and tasteful.

Breakfast is delicious, we also had dinner one time and it was delicious as well. Rooms are very spacious, clean and well preserved.
