Although water temperature tends to swing a lot but that’s understandable given the location. They also provide towels and a hair dryer. BBQ Dinner was included and very tasty. Above all, the hosts are very nice and friendly.

I’m really glad that I choose this hotel in wadi rum. everything is perfect, the view so beautiful. how i wish to stay longer.

In the evening there was traditional music, meat baked in a pit, the night starry sky. I had to leave in the evening, and they left me at the campsite, where I could rest and take a walk nearby in the desert. The guide Mahmud took me on a jeep tour. There are many camps to choose from in Wadi Rum, but only one Wild Oryx! The locations is perfect… peaceful and stunning. Eid is someone who you will be happy to know just exists as he shares his huge heart with his guests, making the experience uniquely special. Syed will cook your meals with the deliciousness of an experienced chef and serve it with a kind and gentle nature. I rarely write reviews and I’ve travelled a lot, but Wild Oryx is a magical place that I wanted to be sure and share! Thank you, Eid and team for an experience that I will always treasure.

Comfortable, warm, silent tents (even in February), delicious dinner and breakfast, helpful, knowledgeable, kind hosts, excellent communication and organization of activities- all that we could have hoped for! We had a wonderful stay. Loved our full day tour!

The owner Hassan and his helper were very kind and helpful. Ali the guide gave us an excellent tour and showed us some interesting things not on the tourist trails. They arranged camel rides at sunrise. Breakfast was quite good (included) as was the dinner (10 dinar per person). We were there at the coldest time of year and Hassan made an effort to keep us warm.

When I met the owner he said we were like family. And that was true. He’s extremely kind and helpful. He suggested that, as a solo traveler, I join some group in tours. There also was free high-speed wi fi. They served nice breakfast and dinner, and at any moment during the day we could take some cool water and tea/coffee. At night they kindled a fire and we admired the stars.

The owners are very pleasant and interesting to talk to, they are incredibly respectful and generous, and they went the extra mile to help us enjoy our stay. If you are looking for a place that shows a more genuine experience of Wadi Rum, rather than the more touristy camps, then this is definitely a great option.

The staff and the location is simply great. Located at the south of Wadi Rum village allowed us to actually observe and see The Milky Way on the sky. Around 10 pm or so, they shut off the lights from the main pavilion except for small LED lights that light up the paths to the rooms like an airplane runway. Rooms and amenities were excellent and the same can be said about the food and the variety of food available.
