I visited with my daughters aged 5 and 9 in November. Despite being winter the stay was comfortable as we brought sleeping bags in addition to the provided bedding. The wood burner in the tent also took the edge off. The camp area is great with multiple fires and places to sit. It really feels magical and my girls loved it. The woods are lovely to walk round - we went spotting different types of mushrooms! If you are prepared for a bit of “back to nature” you will have a great time!

Set just 10 km from Granville Theatre, Quex Livery Glamping offers accommodation in Birchington with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a minimarket. Gorgeous location and campsite. The tent itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. There is a kitchen on site with a gas hob, fridge, and all the pots and pans you might need for cooking. The bathrooms are again extremely clean and have hot water. Dawn is beyond helpful, ended up giving us lifts from and to the station as we didn't have a car. Overall it was a delightful weekend and we will certainly be back!
