Everything; especially the staff team who were ALL exceptional and run the most wonderful hotel which made our trip so very special, relaxing and happy.

The Cala Bona y Mar Blava is set 100 metres from a sheltered beach, in the historic Menorcan town of Ciutadella. It has an outdoor pool and a sun terrace. Highly recommended. Classic 1960s hotel on Cuitadella's urban beach, just 15min walk into old town. Big balconies with fab views. Great patio, adorable little pool, and private sea swimming area. Why is this a two-star?

Hotel ARTIEM Capri is just 500 meters from Mahon’s main shops and bars. Es Grau Beach is 8 km away and S’Albufera Nature Reserve is within 7 km. Varsin hieno ja moderni hotelli ihan Mahonin vanhan kaupungin vieressä rauhallisella asuntoalueella. Katon allas ja aurinkoterassi olivat upeita ja niiltä mahtava näkymä yli kaupungin. Huone moderni ja viihtyisä. Alakerrassa oli tarjolla ilmaista välipalaa ja viiniä ja vettä lähes ympäri vuorokauden! Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamupala ihan ok. Onnistuimme saamaan tarjoushintaisen huoneen, jolloin todellakin oli rahoille vastinetta. Bussiasema on hotellista vain parin minuutin kävelymatkan päässä, joten oli helppo lähteä minne päin saarta tahansa.

Situated in Ciutadella and within less than 1 km of Gran Beach, Hotel Maïa has a terrace, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. It is literally exceptional. An interior design is breathtaking - looks even better in reality than on photos. Warm and welcoming with energising colours. Bed linens and towels are of the highest quality. The hotel is sparking clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Isa - the manager - responds to an every single question or request you may have - 11 out of 10 :). Breakfast was wonderful - I would love to have a bit more vegetarian selection next time I visit Maia Hotel. It is a truly 4-star hotel (in Spain some of the 4-star hotels do not deserve it I have to admit) with some history and a modern touch in the heart of beautiful Ciutadella. I strongly recommend it!

Hotel S'Antiga Adults Only features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Es Mercadal. Providing a bar, the property is located within 23 km of Mahon Port. Breakfast delicious. Manager, staff-very proffesional, friendly. Room and hotel in interesting design and small, but nice pool. 10/10!

S´Estancia Suites has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Es Mercadal. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. Menorca offers a wide range of possibilities regarding hosting options, including all types of hotels and its locations. S'Estancia Suites is not an obvious choice, since it is a small hotel located in a city that is not the most touristic city of the island (Es Mercadal), but we are highly pleased with our stay. S'Estancia team goes far and beyond to make you feel at home and this small hotel offers comfortable and very well decorated suites with comfy beds and high quality linen, towels, etc... making the island experience relaxing and pleasant. They offer a nice breakfast with local products and the hotel also has a pool, that I must confess we did not enjoyed because we preferred going to the beaches. And here is something to take into account if you are planning to visit Menorca: the island is not that big, but you will enjoy the most if you have a car (there is a public parking in front of the hotel), and will be really convenient to rent a car while you are in the island, so you can visit different cities, beaches and other spots (do not miss the lighthouses). If you are planning to go to a hotel and to stay around it all your time, probably Es Mercadal is not the place for you. But if you are planning to know the island, to explore its cities and beaches and to return every day to a hotel that feels like home, you may consider to book S'Estancia. You will not regret! The team is fantastic. The tips they gave are precious... and you may borrow all you need to enjoy a sunny day at the beach (including beach chairs). And to be fair I have to say that although Es Mercadal is not a city with many touristic attractions, there are nice dining options and you do not have to leave the city to have nice tapas, pizzas or ice creams... the city center is very nice and have good options. We loved our stay... and recommend it to everyone who value its money!
