Boasting a garden and views of garden, Priya Boutique House is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Bangkok, less than 1 km from Wat Saket. The room was really quiet, the aircon was powerful and the bed was super comfy. The building is over one hundred years old and has been restored well showing off the period features. The coffee and fruit was a great start to the morning. I really appreciated all the advice and tips - wish I had done more of the local ones! I went to the Pa and Ma restaurant which is a four minute walk away and it was lovely. I’ll be back!

And even we arrived so late, she was waiting for us and kindly escorted to our room with welcome drinks and desserts. She was attentive all the time and made sure everything was fine during our stay. Even sent us surrounding recommended places to visit which helped us a lot. And oh my god, the Wat Arun view is spectacular! I was amazed by the view every time i see it. Location was great too. Wat Arun was just in a walking distance from the place and Wat Pho was just across the river. The room was decorated with beautiful pictures which gave good vibes and it was obvious that she dedicated every small details to make sure the guests have great stay. Indeed, we had amazing stay there and i would recommend it to anyone who is coming to Bangkok.

The location is perfect for us. You may catch the red songthaew (8 baht) just outside udomsuk BTS station and ring the bell to get off when you see the 2nd patrol station (~10 mins), then cross the road and walk 2 mins to the hotel. When going to other direction, just wave when you see the very frequent red songthaew which has a huge word "BTS" written in front, so you won't miss it. It will stop just outside the market underneath the BTS. There are plenty of eateries and restaurants and 7-11 nearby this hotel, and a local night market is 5 mins walk. There is music and beer and some 30 ish delicious and cheap but very clean food stalls. But what we loved the most is actually the local food market underneath the udomsuk BTS. We bought cooked authentic food nearly every late afternoon. The friendly housekeeper let us use all the kitchen utensils with a big fan and we can enjoy the food and drink in the garden every evening. Will definitely return to Teak villa whenever we go to bkk again.

Fantastic oasis near DMK. I agree with all previous comments regarding the outstanding hosts/owners, superb breakfast, and spotless cleanliness. This will be my go-to for future stays near DMK. There are several restaurants and convenience stores within a short walking distance. It is quiet and comfortable (the beds, sheets, and pillows are on par with any 5-star hotel). The exterior of the hotel has a small sitting area surrounded by trees, pants, flowers and a flowing water sculpture. The overall interior design of the hotel and rooms is eclectic with unique but perfect mixture of antiques, Art Nouveau and modern amenities. The complementary shuttle and in-room snacks, drinks and soups are an added bonus, especially when arriving in the evening or late night after a long haul flight.
