The owner Johnny is very contactable, offers great local advice, does tours of the island (which we did and enjoyed) and he’s just a really nice guy. Would deffo stay here again.

The serenity of the place helped to distress and then to soak in the beauty that was all around us. The valley on the side of our bungalow was exceptionally beautiful, I love listening to the chirping of the thousands of birds in the trees. Sandrine and Laurent are wonderful people and do their best to help out their clients and make their stay as memorable as possible. Laurent was a jewel as he washed my rental car before I left Fare Mahi Mahi. What a sweetie!!! Thank you so much, Laurent!!! I asked for extra pillows as I need to sleep with a lot of support for my back, needless to say, I slept extremely well, thank you Sandrine!!!

This peaceful retreat boasts a large outdoor swimming pool with stunning sea views. Villa U'upa is situated just 10 minutes' from the heart of Uturoa and the ferry terminal. Guests enjoy free WiFi. My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy about our stay! Great size of the room, pool right infront of our room and a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was great! And Christine helped of with everything!!!! We were a little last minute and couldn’t rent either a scooter or car on the Island because of a local holiday, but Christine helped us and got us on a great boattrip to Tahaa. Just 80 metres from the Lagoon access to Sea view, La maison Du Voyage offers a relaxed tropical haven with free snorkelling equipment. We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Located in Opoa, Fare Juanita Piti provides accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The property features garden views. My husband and I liked the friendliness of the owners. The time they took to explain to us where we have what. The houses are big enough and cute. Very nicely furnished and carefully laid out. By far the best stay in French Polynesia. We got more than we expected.

Located in Uturoa in the Raiatea region, Ohana RBNB studio "Havai " provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I found it very comfortable for a solo woman traveller. The hostess Marie & her husband were also very empathetic seeing I was alone and gave me pizza on my first night. They also bought dinner for me on my last night. Truly recommended & great Wi-Fi, very clean, air con, tv with utube Netflix etc. 100m to Yee Foo Magasin & super comfortable.

The house is spacious with two bathrooms and toilets., The view is amazing, big veranda with table and raised bed, outdoor shower is also a big bonus.,The kitchen have everything you need.The owners Cathy and Ralph are very helpful and nice people! Access with the car is a bit difficult, you have to stop and carry your bags for 20-30 m , but Ralf was there to help for the first and the last day.. Overall , very positive!
