A good location for a stress-free getaway in Al Ḩayy, Little Petra Bedouin Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the garden. Først og fremst fordi vi opplevde ekte gjestfrihet og varme, og ikke bare et evig mas eter tips).

Located 5-km away from the village of Dana, Al-Nawatef ECO camp- Dana Nature Reserve is an eco-friendly camp that offers guests a traditional Bedouin experience. Amazing place, amazing location. Would highly recommend to get the full hut. Only issue was it is quite hot and night but not really an issue

Featuring a shared lounge and views of mountain, Dana View Guest House is a guest house situated in a historic building in Dana, 27 km from Shobak Castle. Dana is an exceptional place and Malik the host is the best person to tell you all about it. He is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the nature reserve and is happy to share if you ask. Rooms were quite clean with a really epic view. We also enjoyed the exclusive dining experience of being served food cooked by locals and entertained by malik's stories about Dana and poetry. We would have loved to stay there longer

A recently renovated property, Plaza de petra is situated in Wadi Musa near Petra, College of Archaeology, Tourism and Hotel Management. And Obelisk Tomb. We were welcomed with open arms here. The hosts upgraded our room for free as we were the only guests at the moment, and they provided us with a breakfast and a lunch box to go to Petra. The location is perfect, 10 min away from Petra entrance and just 1 min away from great restaurants and shops. Still, it was quiet in the night. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful, there was an A/C and a balcony.

Petra fort hotel, a property with a garden, is set in Wadi Musa, 9 km from Al Khazneh The Treasury, 10 km from Petra, as well as 15 km from Petra Church. The two brothers who run this ola r take you in like family. We arrived late and we’re given a beautiful late dinner to eat, and then hit some excellent advice about how to access Petra through the Backdoor, which I highly recommend (and you have a moderate level of fitness). There are some nice spots to sit it - there’s a rooftop tent and a nice little table in the hallway from which to watch the sunset. I was happy to be away from the hubbub of Wadi Rum, and the drive in isn’t that far to go in if you want a city vibe and to access Petra site.

Set 2.2 km from Petra, Leen Guest House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. This apartment offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. I loved the welcoming attitude of the owner, the homemade dinner, the cleaningness of the house and the views from the balcony. One of us was a little bit ill and the owner tried to help and took care of him as if he was his own son. It was all great!

Situated in Wadi Musa and only 2.2 km from Petra, Petra Voila features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. First, let me say that Tamer is a wonderful host. I got sick and Tamer did not hesitate to help me in every way he could. This hostel is perfectly located. It takes you 5 minutes to go to Petra visitors center for less that 4 JD (don’t hesitate to bargain) by taxi, or 25minutes walking. Very clean room, the hostel is brand new. Tamer offert home made diner, breakfast and many more stuff.

Located within 27 km of Shobak Castle in Dana, Hobbit village features accommodation with seating area. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. overall it was exceptional experience, the food, location, even the birds singing in the morning and a breathtaking view while you’re on the swing, highly recommended
