On Eastbourne seafront, Ebor Lodge offers well-appointed rooms and a full breakfast menu. Gorgeous little garden! Perfect for a glass of wine in the evening. The room was decorated with very good taste and thoroughly for the guest's needs/comfort Breakfast was delicious! The host, David, was great, made it very easy to feel "at home". Friendly, professional, polite, always with a smile on his face!

The camping pod was really cosy and clean, much roomier and more comfortable than I expected. The pods are really well kitted out with kitchenware and home comforts, which is perfect for a solo traveller who can't carry too much with them. Lovely little coffee/tea hamper provided and the hob was really easy to use. The pods are warm and well lit, with a great little decking area to sit out on into the evening. Very comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of towels in the shower room and all the little extra things you might need have been thought of. I would highly recommend the Scallows and would love to visit again myself one day.

Although the neighborhood is somewhat divers w.r.t. state of houses, the West Hill Retreat was in very good condition; super friendly host and splendid breakfast served to the room; accommodation was super clean and very well Edwardian style furnished. An outstanding experience.

Our best hotel experience of all hotels at the South coast of the UK! We had an amazing stay in this hotel and what a great hosts are Rich and Katie, no effort has been spared to make us feel like at home here. The room was cozy and beautiful furniture and the view was stunning. It was beautiful to sit on the balcony and see the ocean. We had a wonderful breakfast in the morning, down in the lobby and the homemade cakes were the best we've ever tasted. It were all kind of nice things that made our stay at sea view all the more perfect. We can highly recommend this hotel, in fact this was our best experience in all hotels that we've seen at the south coast of England. It was decorated beautifully and felt very light and airy. We had everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay. It was also exceptionally clean! The thoughtful extras we had to for example, bathrobes, slippers, choice of shampoos/conditioners, blankets, an umbrella,cereal and fresh milk for breakfast etc were amazing. We got the appt on an offer for £52…. just so cheap for what it is! We would absolutely be wiling to pay between £80-£90 per night as it is so worth that!! Thanks again Maddy!
