At first, we didn't think we were at the right place because the house is very remote! But no, we finally went inside this massive house, with two living rooms, a huge kitchen and big bedrooms, very spacious indeed. A pool is there if you like. The owners were absolutely lovely people. We stayed at the reading room, which was plentiful in space & well decorated, much like the whole house. It is a beautiful historic house, sporting a gorgeous garden & everything in it is of good taste. We had a good breakfast and good talks with the friendly host, who helped us reserve for our dinner (as all the restaurants in town were closed). We would definitely stay there again. Ps- I had the best scone I've ever had during my breakfast there, truly a highlight!
