This house was everything we wanted and more. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable, can easily accommodate a group of people for a great price, and is centrally located to restaurants, stores and the parks/beaches. All the rooms were very spacious, nicely furnished and we felt very secure in this gated property. The air conditioning was extremely welcomed after a day out. Both my friends and myself are looking forward to coming back to the area and staying again at Amplia Casa de Paquera.

The hosts were super nice, friendly and accommodating. Wilma stayed in my cabin to look after my pets one night so that I could go kayaking and see the bioluminescence in the harbor. You cannot beat this kind of customer care! Franco buit me a bonfire twice during my stay. You just have to ask and Wilma and Frano will do their best to accommodate you.The site itself is super quiet. I only had to look up to see monkeys, parrots and a great variety of birds. The kitchen was well equiped. I loved every minute of my stay there. Going to the beach was an adventure and my dogs loved the walk there. They struggled a bit crossing the river over a suspended log, but that was part of the adventure:) I only want to add that this is rough camping, simple and secluded. If this is what you are looking for, you will be in heaven.

Location was very secure and very close to the beach. The large back yard and pool was a great feature and we used it daily. The kitchen was well stocked to cook and there was a BBQ as well. Great location close to many places to visit in the Nicoya Peninsula. Each bedroom had a bathroom to accompany, which was fantastic! The property manager was very responsive when we had questions.

The staff was fantastic and pointed out several wildlife present. Want sure about it when we pulled in but it was a wonderful authentic Costa Rican experience, close to bioluminescence kayak tour and wild life preserve. Could've stayed much longer.

This apartment was just off the main street but it was quiet. The lane it is on wends its way down to a small stream so there were lots of birds.We also loved the chickens and their babies scratching in the grass and the roosters crowing in the morning . Lovely to have access to stores and restaurants and still feel you are not in a city. Good location: near to the ferry,bioluminescence tours and to curú wildlife reserve.

I was very tired when I arrived and since the hostel wasn't very busy they upgraded my room for my best comfort. I didn't even ask them, but they were so kind to offer me a bigger, quieter room at no extra costs. The next day my onward travel turned out to be more complicated than expected using public transport, but the owner was so nice to take me to a better bus stop in another town. Very helpful indeed. AC worked well in the 2 of 3 rooms with AC. Have 2 stand up fans to help cool main area. Owner was nice and reserved our bioluminescence tour with Eddy. Great star gazing. Close to town. Interesting to stay in a local neighborhood.
