This was just the most beautiful surprise during our Costa Rica trip. We stayed here as a stop over from the Caribbean to Arenal, which was a great idea. We recommend arriving before it gets dark, which we just happened to do. You get out of the car, and are in the middle of the woods, walking towards these beautiful cabins, that just seem from the movie. In our case, we were the only guests, but there was another functioning cabin, and a couple in the works. The cabin is small but has everything you need to spend a night. The interior is very cozy, beautiful, and to have this amazing view to the outside. The bathroom actually exceeded our expectations, this was one of the best showers we had during our trip. Homemade breakfast is served in the morning by the family who owns the space. There’s a big outdoor dining area for this, which is part of the big property. You also have a small river you can walk down to, or just mingle and stay at the park-like terrain. We would definitely love to come back!

Great breakfast. Very friendly host. For most of the night a very active firefly flew around the roof of our tent (outside the mosquito netting) which gave a very romantic feel to our stay :)

Jose and Silvia are super caring hosts. Their place is like a hidden fairy tale gem behind the door. Surrounded by trees and plants the rooms are very quiet and well maintained. Hosts have decorated the place with very much attention and care. They love to help and share their stories with their guests. Breakfast was prepared fresh and homemade, according to our wishes. They even let our friends sleep in the car for free in their backyard. Internet was fast 100+ mbps. We felt very relaxed at their place. If you want to stay away from the noises and get relaxed, this is the place for you.
