Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

It was so good so after we left , we decided to go back and stay longer. Perfect by all means.

Our view from bed was straight down the Douro Valley and a stunning sunrise was a perfect start to the day. Breakfast on the covered terrace fueled us for a walk downhill amongst the vineyards. Our host was generous with a glass of his delicious wine and conversation. I would definitely stay here again but next time for more than one night. It was a very sweet place.
