Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. We had a lovely stay with our hosts Silvia and John. They did everything to make our days at Karimunjawa unforgettable, e.g. we had a great snorkelling trip, scooter rental and the very best breakfast of the island. And also the doggies are great company and always well behaved.

Each en-suite bungalow has 2x2 metre windows and a private terrace with views of the sea.

A range of activities are offered on site, such as kayaking, snorkelling and fishing. Private boat tours from the property's pier can also be arranged. The property is a 10-minute drive from town and provides transportation services with a surcharge. Where do we even start? Tono and Rama are amazing. They helped us with nearly everything on our vacation. Transportation, activities, scooter rental (sorry guys), food... It's just the small details, that make this place feel more and more like home. Floating Paradise is such an amazing place, we couldn't think of a better stay in Karimunjawa. Thank you soo much, we would love to come back again :))

Some rooms have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. This place deserves 1000 stars, not 10. Janur Bungalow truly is a paradise, not only because it's beautifully designed and decorated but, above all, because of its wonderful host and staff. I spent a week in Janur Bungalow and during all this time Bobby, the owner, was making sure I had everything and anything I needed, in fact, he became a friend rather than just a "host". I'm so happy I found this place and I wish I could've stayed there for a month. Another great thing about Janur Bungalow is the food - breakfasts are huge and beautifully served. There's juice, fruit, the best coffee in the world, traditional handmade (!) sweets and mie goreng or a pancake. The same goes for the dinner - it was the best Indonesian food I tasted in Java. Needless to say, everything is spotlessly clean.

Guesthouse 44 was my second home for a week in Purwokerto. The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!

The property features garden views and is 44 km from Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station and 44 km from Tugu Monument. The property is non-smoking and is set 3.9 km from Borobudur Temple. In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

Located in Karimunjawa in the Central Java region, with Nirwana Beach and Pancuran Beach nearby, Loyal friend hostel karimunjawa provides accommodation with free private parking. The property features sea views. Guests can make use of a terrace. The location was great, right on the waterfront, and I felt really welcomed as soon as I arrived off the ferry, where I was picked up and brought to the property. It was easy to sort out a scooter, trips and there's an honesty bar for beers, water and soft drinks. Also free tea and coffee. Breakfast was basic but really tasty and healthy! Fruit, eggs, juice. It was all really nice, and it's on a quieter street, just off the main road.
