Excellent location, warm-homey feel with extremely nice and gracious hosts! From the minute we checked in the hosts made us feel right at home. The gentleman that checked us in gave us a run down of the city and some recommendations. The place itself was a bit different at first, as it seems like a big flat that was converted into a small boutique style hotel. This adds to the charm though, with warm decor, a kitchen with free drinks, ice cream, tea, coffee, and a dining area that can also be used to work. Several metro and bus stops are only 2-3 minutes away, and everything is flat and very walkable. There a tons of bars and eateries near by, and this place was just at the center of it all! Lastly, I just wanted to thank the staff for allowing us to check out a little later, and to hang out in the dining area as we worked and killed a few hours before taking a high speed train. Again, everyone was more than helpful and kind to us and we couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone who asks. When back in Barcelona, we will love to stay here again. Thank you Conica!

Hostal La Placeta is located in Camprodón, Girona, 20 km from Vallter 2000 Ski slopes. It has rooms with heating and private bathroom. The staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and functional.

Pension Ciudadela guest house is opposite Barcelona’s França Train Station and 100 metres from Ciudadela Park. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities. The location is perfect. Short walks to all the main sights. Friendly staff and a very comfortable, clean room. An added bonus was the rooftop terrace! Just step out the door and a ride to the top in the elevator gives you an oasis amid plants and views of the city. Lots of chairs and lounges. We would rest up there for a couple hours at the end of the day before heading out for dinner.

I had an amazing stay at Pensió Bellmirall. The room, and the whole building, was beautifull and anything I needed was there. Breakfast was great and coffee/tea/water and some snacks were available all day. What made this stay even more special was the amazing staff! Just before my stay they warned me that getting to the hotel could be hard due to all the steps in the center of Girona and this saved my from a horrible walk with a heavy trolley. Furthermore, the staff made me feel so welcome and from the moment I arrived I felt completely at home.

Hostal Porxos Garden provides accommodation located 1.1 km from the centre of Barcelona and offers a garden and a terrace. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.2 km from Somorrostro Beach. Great location and stylish rooms. Helpful staff and great breakfast. Loved our stay.

Fonda Can Llobet, a property with a bar, is set in Santa María del Camí, 15 km from Igualada Muleteer's Museum, 15 km from Igualada Leather Museum, as well as 42 km from Kursaal Theatre. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was so generous and the room was equipped with everything you need. If you want to see what locals eat and what Catalan food is like, I highly recommend trying the restaurant's food too.
