Santa Marinella itself is a lot more authentic than posher locations like Fregene, and offers a convenient 30 minute train into the heart of Rome - so it’s also a great alternative for a stay in Rome if one wants a some quiet at the end of the day. Most importantly, the property shows the personal care of a passionate owner/ host who lives on site.

Everything. It’s a beautifully designed space and was comfortable. It was VERY clean! I appreciated the empty water carafe and the shower was really nice. I also received assistance with a few things, which I appreciated. Check-in and checkout was easy.

Our host was extremely kind. She filled our fridge with all kinds of goodies. Breakfast was crazy she supplied us with all you think of including fresh eggs from her chicken coop. Recommending

The host Stefano is excellent. He made us felt like at home. He is willing to drive us everywhere without preconditions. He picked us to and from downtown town cruise terminal as well as going to restaurants. We didn't mind compensating him that made him happy. It's worth every penny. For us, the old couple, money is not the main issue. We were well taken care of. This is very important.
